I've been slowly working on the floor plans for our parties Manor in DnD. Ground Floor and First are done so far, with half of the Second inked.

The Ground Floor houses the Nightingale Lounge, named after our "fearless" "leader" Raja Nightingale, who plans to perform there sometimes. If we can ever stop chasing evil for one damn second. I know the floor pattern looks a tad busy, but it gets toned a lighter shade when colour comes into play, so it fades into the background a lot.

The first floor houses the start of our living quarters. For this floor it's the Den where we see guests, as it has a separate entrance from the stairs, so no one ever has to enter the main house if we don't wish. The common room, where all our most important planning/relaxing happens. The Sun room, where our resident Druid Syoliir's overflow of plants end up. The guest room, which is currently housing our house manager and her husband our groundskeeper, who may or may not be a were-goat. Great people. Then finally Syolkiir's room, where the plants seem to have grown from. Lizzie her gf also sleeps here, but given that's a new development I haven't decided how the room needs to be redone, and if I should just cartoonishly scrawl in Lizzie's name on the floor plan like she added it herself. I think I should...

Anyway more to come as I finish up the Second floor, attic space, and the basement. Eventually...

Did I mention the manor happens to be in Sigil and we access it via a magical portkey that may have a connection to an Elven diety? No? Well it's not THAT important really, just don't make eye contact with The Lady of Pain and don't wander the back alleys and you should be fine...

This playlist is still the soundtrack of my life, it just gets updated as I find new artist is all. But the angst and rage is always there. Music is very cathartic for me. Must be why I'm a drummer. It's my therapy 💜

My Eternal Project...

I started this one when I went remote for work, and found myself hoarding tarot/oracle decks about as much as I do plants.

I wanted to make one based around DnD given how much it's meant to me over these years. It felt natural to combine my three passions. Art, DnD, and my love of Divination. However, since I'm only planning on making this a very limited run, it might not hit for all DnD fans. Given all the inside nods.

When I say limited run, I mean it. I'm only making this for myself (and all the characters I've been let's be honest they need this). As well as for a few others from parties past and present, or friends that have contributed beloved characters and settings. This will NOT be sold in my current or future shop.

But I will happily continue to share and stream when I create new ones! Anyway, click below if you want to know more about each card. This one was getting a bit too long. 💜

So for all these I think I'll list the Tarot card, with it’s general meaning. Just in case someone who isn't familiar with Tarot wants to know why I picked the people or images I did. I won't bother with the Reversed meaning, because it didn't influence my art in any way soooo...

The Sun - a joyous and happy outcome. Success at last! The freedom to enjoy the fruits of your labour. Celebration and pleasure. The clouds are finally lifted and you can proceed with confidence. Overall positive sign in a reading.

The Card - Meet Phallyn. (Fae-Lynn) This character belongs to a friend of mine that I have yet to play in a game with, but I just adore her characters. The backstories are just a delight to read. She is a cleric, devoted to Sarenrae (yes she's a Critter).

The Lovers - can often indicate a relationship coming into your life. Although usually romantic in nature, this relationship can be any sort where good communication is involved. If you are considering getting involved with someone for love or business this is a good card to see.

The Card - This card is particularly special to me because it meant a lot to my sister. So I didn’t want to overload it with details, I really wanted to focus on the characters themselves, and their love. She has had these characters for the long haul, playing them past lvl 20. Yes both of them lol, and they are super important to her. So please enjoy Jocelyn and Houston in a loving downtime embrace. Jocelyn here was born an aasimar and Houston became one later through… circumstances.

The High Priestess - trust your own instinct. Got a hunch about something? Go with it. This is the time to really listen to that nagging voice in your head sometimes referred to as your “gut”. Before making a decision of meaning or with an power to it, look inward first. The answers are all there within you.

The Card - This one is an old character of my own, and when I say old I mean old. I was still in school, when I last played her. I won’t age myself too much by giving too many details, sorry lol. But she’s a priestess of Ioun, you should see some iconography in the card dedicated to her. Her name is Morwan, named for my fav character from The Enchanted Forest Chronicles. She has a cat familiar named Pea, and I just adore her to bits even now. Maybe I should rehash her for a new game one day.

The Magician - a card of talent and power. You’ve got the skills to accomplish your goals at this time. It’s time to make the most of your abilities. Proceed with confidence. Know that you have everything you need to manifest whatever it is you have in mind right at your fingertips.

The Card - This was so much fun to make! This is the first card to feature one of my current party members. Woo Magical Menagerie finally being represented! In such style as well, by our golden boy and reluctant/in denial leader Raja. He’s the bard of our group and also somehow an unintentional musical superstar thanks to playing at one festival. That’s all it takes folks. So here he is, depicted playing in his final concert in Calendor. I made those glow sticks with vials and phosphorescent mushrooms. Our DM is very “rule of cool”. It was such a fun moment for all of us. I love this card the most so far. 💜

Our DnD party's beloved home away from home. Where the members of The Magical Menagerie lay their weary heads, while they push ever forward, desperately trying to intercept evil, before it has it's way with the Material Plane.

The fact that they just so happen to have their actual home in another plane of existence all together is just a formality they assure you.

An illustration I made for my friends to celebrate thier engagement! I added their cat Atticus because he's an important part of the family and he had to approve so he should be included. Some of you might recognise the pattern on the dress. It's the background pattern for my Tumblr. I made it myself based on a Modern Millie pattern I liked but found far too busy for such a small format.

I like to draw these little spreads sometimes of items around a central theme. This is Winter Favs. All the things I love to do once that crisp wind starts clinging to the air. This year it's been a bit sad, and warm though... so we haven't done much of these activities this year.

My name is Lonnie (they/them), and I’m a perpetually under-caffeinated artist and graphic designer, currently living in New Hampshire. So much to say about this one, so pardon me while I geek out a bit. This one is a bit different for me, less illustration, and more cobbled together goodness. 

I got it in my head to do a project the other day, when I saw these really nice book shaped cardboard boxes at Michaels. That had absolutely hideous floral covers... So I decided to revamp it. thinking a simple magic circle printed out, distressed around the edges and then mod podged on top of a repainted and sealed book would look much better. (I'll toss up the finished project when I get around to actually finishing it I promise) So, with that in mind I made this, using some symbols that were found readily available on r/dndnext, as well as a DnD wiki page I stumbled across full of some really nice homebrew stuff. Check below for links to where I found all the free for personal use bits used in this thing. All together I think it came out really nice for something I just pieced together out of various bits I found online, and a little dash of my own creativity, all on a last minute whim. I've printed it out, and plan to grab the supplies to finish the book this weekend, so look forward to seeing the finished product!

Symbols included are: - Twelve phases of the moon surrounding it all, I just liked how it looked with the rest. - Three symbols of the Goddess Mystra in the large black circles. Being the mother of all magic in the DnD world it seemed fitting that her power would be called on for something like this. - Symbols in the smaller circles that represent death, life, and balance (or evil, good, and neutrality if you prefer) - Symbols for the Feywild, Shadowfell, and Prime Material Planes that can be found here. - Symbols for the 8 schools of magic most commonly used in DnD, which were found here. I modified the one for Necromancy, only because in the end, it just looked like an unfinished circle and stood out a lot... - Geometric representations of the constellations used in the fantasy zodiac homebrew found here. I just plotted out the constellation, and used various sizes of the shapes I’d made to represent the stars. 

- Plus a bunch of text around the outside done in an Espruar font (language of the Elves in the Forgotten Realms), which can be found here. This person does loads of great DnD fonts, as well as a bunch of other great geek fonts, so check them out!
