saturday - august 2nd

There isn‘t much to tell about today, it was very chill & laid back since I‘m a bit sick currently :(

Slept longer than usual, made yummy breakfast (at the moment my favourite breakfast is rice with furikake, kimchi & eggs) and just laid in bed for a while before getting ready to go grocery shopping🔖

The plan was for Boyfie to make dumplings today, unfortunately though we couldn‘t find dumpling wrappers anywhere :(( Instead we picked up japanese curry which I love so all gooood

I‘ve been having some stomach pain today so I wasn‘t in the mood to go out again, so instead we stayed in🥡

Spent my day playing some games & watching South Park (+ later on Scrubs) while it was pouring down outside…

Also watched Jennifer‘s Body and it was alright, not ground breaking or anything but entertaining. Especially the ending!!

friday - august 1st

I did in fact not forget to write this entry, I simply had to sober up a bit and just went to bed yesterday night after getting home lmao

Work was pretty good! There wasn‘t too much to do yesterday for me, most problems actually solved themselves after some time and we didn‘t have that many orders yesterday :) Spent some time in the warehouse, completing my quests (scanning return orders, bringing people documents & taking pictures of faulty orders). I like having the balance between sitting at my desk and working in the warehouse, otherwise I think my back would be way worse than it already is…

Speaking of my back, I‘ve been thinking to go to some courses my gym offers after work. Not sure yet though, on sunday I‘ll just do my normal workout like usual and ask about which courses would be best for my back pain :)

It was raining like usual, with short breaks of sunshine inbetween. For lunch I had some tteokbokki & a super yummy kimchi onigiri (and of course my beloved redbull) 🌟 Did some overtime again because a truck driver didn‘t want to leave after we said we wouldn‘t (better: couldn‘t) unload him at 4pm lmao

Our warehouse is officially open until 3pm most days, sometimes the guy loading trucks does overtime but the guy unloading trucks had already started his weekend and there was no way we could unload his truck even if we wanted to… And i wanted to!! Honestly, I felt very bad for him :( Especially since he kept repeating that [insert other big logistic company] said it was okay and that he could unload his truck at our warehouse.

I mean, hello?? I don‘t go around telling drivers to shit at your gate and to tell you 'No worries, [big logistic company] said that I could do that'…

Anyways my sister‘s birthday was yesterday and because she didn‘t have anything planned I invited her to get dinner together 🔖

Got some yummy food and cocktails at our hometown‘s restaurant. They gave the most insane Long Island Iced Tea ever - I swear, barely any coke and every sip tasted like I was straight chugging alcohol from three different bottles. Kinda what I needed after my work week, but that cocktail left me pretty buzzed lmao

I had a pretty good hair day yesterday! Maybe because the humidity wasn‘t as bad yesterday compared to the other days?

Anyways, after dinner we went to my boyfie‘s house to pick him up and to go play some pool 🎱

He just returned from his work trip (to his home country) and brought some snacks back for us. Also, he got me another Nijntje for my collection!! I‘m so stoked I love her so much🙂‍↕️

My boyfriend‘s dad arrived just as we we‘re leaving and found out that it was my little sister‘s birthday - He disappeared and reappeared with a little envelope with some money inside for her :') I thought that was the sweetest gesture ever

We played some pool (we all won once, it‘s up for you to decide wether it‘s because we‘re all soo good or it‘s because we all equally suck at it) and ordered some more cocktails. The town that I live in has a bowling alley a few minutes from my home with some pool tables, so we often spend time here 🎳

All in all a very successful day!!

thursday - july 31st

I’m done for today… So tired!!

Work has been a little bit stressful today, with lots of UK orders (so a LOT of customs declarations… I am begging you UK come back to us!! Breturn 2026) and some detective work from my side regarding missing orders 🔖 Did some major overtime today, but it was raining like hell anyways so whatever

Today was also the last day of our department’s trainee and I’m gonna miss her a lot :( She brought some cake to the office which I was very happy about (love sweet treats).

Had some strawberry cake with coffee in my favourite moomin mug. That’s what life is all about 🌟Tomorrow will be the first day of our new trainee, so I have that to look forward to (in our company, while in training, we change departments every 6 months) 🧚🏼‍♀️

At least it always stops raining for a short time on my way home so i never have to use my umbrella 🌂

I listened to Abbey Road a lot this afternoon and I think the transition from Golden Slumbers to Carry that Weight will forever be a favourite of mine🎧 It’s so freaking magical!!

went through my gallery & looked at pictures from the last two years :') you guys probably know the feeling: you go out, looking super cute and then someone takes a picture of you and you look like shit (even worse when you say that last part out loud and said person says 'what do you mean? you look like you always do')

i never liked people takes pictures of me when i was younger because of this (& i had major insecurities as a teen) and therefore i don’t have that many photos of myself/ with friends when i was in school :( i regret that now!

that’s one of the reasons i take a lot of pictures nowadays (+ my friends are all very pretty & photogenic), but that also means i’m always behind the camera and not in many of the pictures.

my boyfriend is not one to take many photos (or even have the slightest interest in photography), but he’ll always take pictures of me wherever we go :')

wednesday - july 30th

Took an early train to the office today and the sky looked very pretty!! 🌟 It was rather sunny today (until early afternoon when it came pouring down…) but still the humid weather is messing with my hair so, so bad. I was in a great mood all day, even though the general mood in the office was down in the dumps today lmao

I love my blue journal. I tend to write a lot in the span of a day, and it keeps all my thoughts in one space to sort through them! I also love this Laneige lip balm that my sister brought back for me from Korea earlier this year🔖 Got all my makeup & medicine in my Nijntje bag

Ohh, I had the sweetest moment on the train back home today🧚🏼‍♀️ When I boarded the train I saw another girl that I have been seeing for the past few days sitting in the same spot & she actually saved a seat for me (on the off chance that I’d be on the train again today). Loved her for that :')

Even though the mood of my colleagues wasn’t the best today, work itself was pretty fun. Knocked out problems & was very satisfied with myself lmao

Can’t even talk about all the fun stuff that happened today (may or may not involved a Gecko…) 🦎

Secured the goods for the most perfect dinner! Nothing beats a cold beer (even if it’s mostly soft drink, the new astra is so fucking good) & some green olives :)

Gonna spent the rest of my night watching South Park & doing my skincare. My boyfie will be going on a business trip tomorrow so I’ll spend some quality time with myself (not eating protein) 🤫

tuesday - july 29th

This morning I had to go to hospital because I was having some tests done - I've had severe headaches for months (& frequent nosebleeds), which is why I'm now having a check-up :)

I actually wanted to work from home afterwards, but as I wasn't feeling too well after the tests, I took a spontanous day off (big thank you to my colleagues & thank god for all my overtime) and instead got some rest. My little sister came over around lunchtime with some yummy food and we played a bit of Animal Crossing together 🌟

Afterwards I just got some chores done & washed my hair with my new shampoo (it got sooo soft and smells great). Winded down today with some green tea & skin care "( – ⌓ – )

monday - july 28th

Went back to work today! Didn't expect it to be so chill, it was very easy to get back into the flow today. From mid-August it will probably get really stressful again because we will then start organising the winter campaign and there will probably also be more UK store openings, but I won't start stressing yet :)

Also I don't really mind doing overtime because I love cozy afternoons in the office - especially since it was raining heavily today! Can't beat the sound of rain against our big office windows while I'm at my desk drinking a hot beverage ☕

Speaking of hot beverages, one of my sacred rituals at work is getting a vanilla latte from the vending machine (a big coffee is 1€) for our first smoke break of the day. It's always after the morning briefing and I love to catch up with my colleagues (and gossip hihi) 🌟

I know that a lot of companies nowadays struck a healthy balance between home office & being in the office (I barely work from home though, it's better to be on site in my position) and therefore have a rotating desk system, where you have to book a desk before you come into work. I am so, so glad that we do not have that - I love having my own desk (with my cute figurines), with my own little cabinet with snacks and drinks und my favourite colleague right in front of me ♡⸜(˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)⸝♡

Big fan of things staying the same and having my little routine every day!

But what really made my day today was this picture my boyfie sent me this morning :') A few weeks ago I was at my boyfriend's company's summer party (it was sooo fun) and today they gave him two chocolate bars because he helped out behind the bar and I helped clean up when it started to rain. So thoughtful and made me feel very warm inside (ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ.ﾟ

Also my boyfriend was the real MVP today, picking up Bibimbap for dinner so I didn't have to cook anything (hell yeah!! although even if he didn't pick up takeout, he probably woulda have cooked something, not me...) and it was SO good! Tasted way better than it looked in this picture LMAO

Oh, my parcel finally arrived today! I'm a big fan of Korean/Japanese makeup & skincare and reorder my favourite products from time to time :) At the beginning of the year, my mum, little sister and my boyfriend's mum were in Korea together and brought me such great products that I hardly get here. But most of my favourite products I can get online (either on yesstyle or olive young). The important thing in this parcel for me was the Japanese shampoo & conditioner, to change things up a bit after using banana shampoo forever lmao

sunday - july 27th

Normally I would be really anxious by now and have brutal sunday scaries, but I have to say that because I had such a nice day I am very relaxed :)

I took it easy today, slept in & did a bit of self-care! My boyfie kept trying to play the new Project Epoch server, but even today it was rather unstable and not really playable (at least on the PVP server). I didn't even try and instead did some skincare while listening to music and tidying up a bit because my friend (aka my teamlead) came over in the afternoon. We had to catch up (even though we're gonna see each other at work first thing tomorrow morning lmao) after I've been off work the past two weeks 🔖

My fit today! 🩵 I've tried putting my hair in a ponytail for a change and thought it looked rather cute :)

I tried the instant milk tea by Lipton today and it was not bad! I'm not sure wether I like this one better than the 3:15PM one though..

My all time favourite milk tea is by Lujiaoxiang BUT i can never find it in any stores anymore it's driving me crazy 😩

Also I love Jin Ramen they're sooo good!! Although I have to say that my favourite instant ramen lately have been the potato ramen by Samyang. Paired with Enoki mushrooms and bok-choy :) Definitely recommend 🌟

Oh, and I've been loving Yeolmu (young radish leaves) kimchi a lot! Somehow this entry turned into me yapping about my favourite food lately :')

saturday - july 26th

Today was a rather chill day. It’s been sunny for a change and I tried extra hard to enjoy the sunshine before we’re going back to the muddy weather. Also, remember when I bragged yesterday about being a beast at my leg workouts? It hurts like hell today. My thighs are actually on fire :(

That's alright though, cus we had a mission today!! Project Epoch's new private server launched at 6pm (WoW for anyone that's unfamiliar) and my boyfriend has been very hyped for it. So we just went grocery shopping in the morning (side quest) and aquired some energy drinks & snacks for tonight :)

So far the launch went as expected: We're not playing and it's 7:34pm rn LMAO - While my boyfriend managed to load into the PVP server a few times, it's super slow and laggy due to the crazy amount of players... It's insane really! On the discord there are 20k members online and Discord actually messaged the server owner to delete the voicechats with hundreds of people in them due to how active the server is. Personally, I have not been able to get into the game even ONCE... stuck forever in the waiting queue :(

But I'm having fun nonetheless. The chat's been really funny (my fav message being some guy complaining about some schizo rant from another player about ragebaiting players to leave the game) and I still haven't decided what class to play... Definitely will be playing Horde though (so probably undead)!! For my last character I played a Nightelf Retribution Paladin but this time I might play as a mage :)

My fav snack today were these passion fruit ice cream mochi (they’re so freaking expensive but sometimes you gotta treat yourself) & I picked up the latest issue of the star wars panini comic book. I’ve been really enjoying the Darth Vader storyline (& the high republic ones). Now they’ve started to put the Ahsoka series on paper (one episode per chapter apparently? feel free to correct me) and while I’m not super excited, I’m not hating either. Love me some Thrawn 🌟

Anyways wish me luck so that we may be able to get into the server tonight🙏🏼

friday - july 25th

A lot has happened today and I took a lot of pictures so this entry will probably be a bit longer… you were warned!

Unfortunately I had to get up early again today because I went to the gym (a tragedy I brought on myself). I have to say, lately I've been a real beast with leg curls, probably the one exercise where i can press the most weight. I'm pretty sure it's because I did Judo for a long time (or maybe not, because my arms are still weak). Essential for every successful workout is (of course) the Redbull for motivation lol

In the afternoon we went to the Titanic exhibition that is currently in our town. My mom and I are both v interested in history (also my mom is OBSESSED with ships lmao) so we had a blast. Is the visit worth the price of the tickets? Not really. But we had fun :)

We got our tickets for the Titanic while we queued for entry, which were modeled after the tickets of the actual people that were on the Titanic. I got the ticket of William Theodore Ronald Brailey, one of the musicians & part Hartley's orchestra on the Titanic. The orchestra kept on playing while the Titanic sank to calm the passengers & went on playing as long as they could before the sea had come awash with the Boat Deck :( In my heart they're heroes for giving people a bit of peace in their final moments through their music.

The exhibtion itself was very beautiful, I especially loved the parts that were modeled after the rooms in the Titanic. The most haunting part of the exhibition was definitely the sequence where they showed the how many SOS' were given off by the signaller to all the other ships, how those drastically got more and more desperate with all the other ships too far away to help :(

After we finished our tour I got two postcards from the giftshop & then we got some dinner :) They had a new melon flavoured bubble tea with jasmine tea & popping boba and it was delicious. We decided to skip the fair because my mom has some issues walking due to some complications with her last surgery and just went home (which was a good decision, it started to rain shortly after). Oh, and I got two new shirts from UNIQLO (my fav store ever <3)

ALSO we watched the new southpark episode and I loved it! But i wanna talk about it more in a different entry so no comment for now
