Just saw a post that said, “young does not mean pain free. young does not mean abled.” Yes, absolutely. And equally: autistic does not mean a child. Learning disabilities do not mean a child. Developmental disabilities do not mean a child. Both in the sense that we do grow up, actually, and in the sense that, when we grow up, we are true adults. Needing help with certain things does not negate this.

Help an LGBT disabled couple

Me and my fiance have been struggling a lot with money. We have been living in a tralier. We have tried to get support from our families but they have been ableist and transphobic towards us and we were assaulted by one of them. We have a cat and no money to feed him or ourselves we are both unable to work. If you can do anything please help even by reblogging.

Help a queer disabled couple out

My fiancee and I were kicked out of my family's home after giving them all our money and suffering with physical abuse from them, transphobia, homophobia and ableism. We are both autistic and my fiance is also physically disabled. we are now staying at a friends place but can only be here until Friday. We have no money to even feed ourselves or out cat. We have a place to go in my fiance's home town in Calgary but we do not have the money for plane tickets. We have tried any way we can to get money but everything we have tried takes weeks or months and we simply do not have the time.

PLEASE tumblr, share this post if you cannot help out we are scared for our lives and our cat.
