it was lost in my memoir,

etched as a sweet thought.

The party wasn't fini,

A silent echo,

across my skin.

as quickly as it came.

There was a wild storm

outside our peaceful home,

like it really was showing

the emotions I was holding.

My pulse quickening,

as my heart processed,

as the fire was flickering,

that I wasn't worth it.

And as the remainings of my soul

layed on the marbled floor

I was accepting my fate,

he was leaving me there.
