My dreams were attacked by hogs

I had a dream the other night that numerous hogs of considerable size had gotten loose in my neighborhood, and I had to protect my dog and repeatedly attempted to keep him inside because the hogs were attacking him.

This dream has repeated in slightly differing way. Sometimes there are multiple instances of my dog at the same time (like just last night). Other times, the danger is less physical and simply presents itself as an ominous foreboding feeling. Like something is coming. Something will find me.

I tell you this to ask the question.

Was this just a nightmare or perhaps a prophecy?

"A Voice from Gaza… A Cry for Help"

Hello, I’m Saja from Gaza 🇵���💔 I’m writing to you today during one of the hardest moments of my life… For months, we’ve been living under the fire of war 💣. The bombing never stops, and death follows us everywhere 🕊️. Destruction has become a daily scene in our lives 🏚️.

But war is not our only enemy… Prices have skyrocketed 💸🔥, and everything has become unaffordable. A loaf of bread 🍞, a box of milk 🥛, a bottle of water 🚰… have all become distant dreams. Even the most basic needs are no longer within reach. We survive on so little, trying to hold on despite the pain 😔.

My home is no longer the same 🏠❌, our lives have changed, and safety has vanished. My children no longer know peaceful sleep or full meals 🛏️🍽️. Every day brings a new danger, and every night we pray just to survive one more day 🙏.

This is a picture of my home after the bombing… Our dreams turned to rubble. 🧱💔

One thing I find interesting about Thord and Walda is how differently they see leadership

In the simplest way I can describe it: Thord thinks the Illagers follow Walda, because she is the leader Walda knows she is the leader, because the Illagers choose to follow her

That's why Thord is so against the idea of rallying multiple tribes to fight the heroes in the first place. "Then who would be in charge?" I'm not saying he is the only Illager to care about hierarchy (their society is kinda build on it), but I do think he was a very warped view of it. No one has ever (successfully) stood up to him, in a way he could always do what he wanted. It's also the way he leads his raiding parties, and one reason why he's so quick to dismiss Archie even though from a logical point of view, he is right.

For Thord, it isn't really about the well-being of the members of his party. It's about how much control he has over them.

Walda, on the other hand, knows that in the end, she is very much outnumbered. Sure, what she says is rarely ever fought (from what we see), but it's not like she wanted to give leadership over the Archie. After all, there are multiple times it's implied she tried to take it back. However it's clear that the tribe, after seeing his fortress and power, wants Archie. And if she doesn't comply, well then why shouldn't they choose to just follow someone else? What is Walda gonna do?

She obviously still values her position, but she also knows that if the Illagers unanimously steer a certain direction, there is little she can do to change course.

Thord wants total control, but that isn't something Walda has. And while no one has challenged him yet, there is a great difference between a guy who's just a major ass, and a malevolent dictator. He has a lot more chances surviving as one than the other, and I'm not sure he ever would have realized that

Rethinking Endermen

Endermen are my favorite mob in the Minecraft Universe. They are tall, mysterious, and ever-present. Yet, they could be more.

How could endermen be changed to not just suit their status as a terrifying otherworldly force, but also to make way for other kinds of endermen such as the enderlings of Minecraft Dungeons?

Well, I have a few ideas, of course!

Interesting detail with the Snarelings!

The particles for the Snarelings' goop are the same as those atop the Heart of Ender's and Blastlings' flaming heads as well as the Void flames found in the End.

This could imply that snareling goop is rather fiery in composition!

Ghasts, Baby Ghasts, & Ghastlings!

Such mysterious creatures float about in the Nether. Some of them drying up as juveniles. But what are they and how exactly do they work? It's time to answer this question in some rather unconventional ways!
