Imagine your self as a simple pebble, resting on the shore. With the sand on your back and the sun upon your face you lay here. • Listen to the sounds of the waves. Link the waters flow with the breath, flowing in, flowing out. The natural spontaneous breath moving with the sound of the sea. Like taking a bath for the soul. • Deep rest and relaxation is needed for restoration. • In restorative yoga, we focus on the non-doing or un-doing of action. We allow the body to melt and come into the pose as naturally as possible, with no strain or effort. We allow the pranic body, the energy body, to guide us through the subtle movements. • By remaining in awareness, we can take in the whole picture, the whole body and allow nature to do the work it has been trying to do all along. • Tonight's restorative yoga class will start at 5:30 - 6:30 pm BST and is held via Zoom. • If you would like to attend, please email your request to [email protected].
