hello darling! stromecat is an excellent pairing to get into, 100% recommend!! these are four of my fave stromecat fics and, in general, the four i would recommend as a precursor to the pairing! :)

Race Like Falcons to Crash and Burn by Linsky is a deliciously long (roughly 75k) a/b/o story set in the (equally amazing) wolfverse series, but it can be read as a standalone! (i think it's also one of the longest stromecat stories on ao3? maybe?)

It’s okay to be a wolf in the NHL now. That’s what everyone tells Dylan, anyway.

soft, softer, softly by heartstrings is also an a/b/o story that's essentially 12k of "jonny and patrick teach dylan how to alpha" because:
