Who am I?

Who am I? That’s the one big question I’ve been asking myself for years. I’ve been questioning my gender for most of my life and I have used all sorts of labels for myself like; bigender, gender fluid,transgender,agender and cis.

One thing I’ve learned about myself during this journey that I’m on is that, I can’t fit into just one box. Every time I just start to become comfortable with a label I have a gender crisis all over again and I become very distant with that label and myself in general.

Gender identity is a huge part of your identity and once you start questioning that it’s terrifying. My whole world has come crashing down so many times all because of that one question, Who am I?

I am extremely fortunate that my best friend Kian @itsabookishblog has been there with me through it all. I honestly don’t know where I would be without him! He has been so supportive, kind and respectful of the changes I keep making and encourages me to follow my heart and not the path that my family has made for me. I have come out so many times to him and he’s got my back right away. Seriously he’s the best friend everyone wishes they had!

So, Who am I? I am Ali Parker. I identify as nonbinary and I use they/them pronouns :)
