Been working on this piece every since I finished reading the Renegades trilogy by Marissa Meyer for the first time!! The books are so good!! Anyways, as I was reading it I kept picturing Nightmare’s metal mask as some kind of snarling beast from a nightmare. Since Nova is half Filipino I used the Bakunawa mask as inspiration! I’m so happy with how this piece came together!

Day 30 done! This one fun today because I don’t watch much apocalypse or zombie stuff. I imagine you’d want to cover as much skin as possible to prevent scratches/bites and keep your hair either short or up so that it can’t be grabbed. I think Maeve’s look came together well and am pretty happy with it!

Day 29 done! This was a fun one to do, I hope to go back and color it someday. Vermilion specializes in illusion magic and often uses it to help her escape from knights or during a heist. This time she decided a dragon would do the trick!
