The 3 Keys to Weight Loss
1️⃣ Nutrition is at least 70% of the battle. There is no magic pill. The most important factor is to ensure that your body is burning more calories than its consuming. If you want an educated estimation of how many calories you burn, DM and I will help you out. 2️⃣ Exercise is around 30% of the battle. This helps to ensure that your body burns enough calories to be a deficit, to burn fat. You can choose to exercises from walking to intense weightlifting. Obviously the more calories you burn the more you can eat but it's up to you what approach you take. If you want any training support, let me know. 3️⃣ Sustainability. Anyone can go crazy on intense training and crash diets for a few weeks but when you stop the weight comes straight back. You need to treat this like a marathon not a sprint. Make small subtle changes such as walking/cycling into work twice a week and swapping chocolate bars for a fruits. 5 Fat Loss Myths
1️⃣ Myth: don't eat after 6pm especially carbohydrates it turns into fat. Fact: It doesn't matter what time of the day you eat, consuming more calories than you burn causes you to increase weight. 2️⃣ Myth: your body can only absorb 25g of protein at once. Fact: your body does not limit how much protein you can digest. It just takes a longer period of time to process larger amounts. 3️⃣ Myth: alcohol is fattening. Fact: no food or drink is inherently fattening. Consuming more calories than you need, you'll gain fat. Consume less calories than you need, you'll lose fat. 4️⃣ Myth: you need to perform endless hours of cardio. Fact: you just need to do enough exercise a few times a week just to ensure that your body is in caloric deficit, to lose weight. Sustainability is the key, choose simple things you can do on a regular basis. Not one intense thing you do once in awhile. 5️⃣ Myth: fruit makes you fat. Fact: no it does not. When was the last time you met someone who got fat from eating fruit?
