General Life Update

To anyone that’s still interested, man, life’s a bitch. I have approximately two weeks until my A-Level exams and let me tell you don’t take Biology and Chemistry just to decide to do Economics at Uni. Either way, been too busy with work the last two years - I think it’s crushed the creativity in me. The words don’t flow on the page anymore. 

I am intending to finish all my stories, The Hyuuga Massacre in particular, and maybe work on expanding The Shipping Experiment to the story I always wanted it to be - a humorous read, but long and contrived plot nonetheless. Hopefully I can find the notes that I needed for that.

And to clarify, nothing will happen until after exams - but if you still have the patience please stick around to see!

Sneak peak: The Hyuuga Massacre XXXIV

"Hinata, you need to go," Itachi said softly, starting to walk to his throne. "There are three people that you need to intercept and fool with genjutsu. And hurry back," his voice cracked a bit, showing his unwillingness to let her go.

She hugged him from behind again, and forced him to turn around. "Itachi," she whispered, cupping his face in her hands. "You need to stay safe. You promised me you would survive. Please don't forget that promise," she pleaded, her hands tightening on his face. "Please," she repeated.

"I won't," he promised steadily, leaning downwards to peck her lips.

Wow it’s been so long!

Good news: I haven’t abandoned this fic, and the next chapter is approximately 2/3rds complete 

Bad news: I haven’t finished it so this is just a sneakpeak. Hopefully I’ll finish soon!

Dominant and Dominee

Hinata had been controlled her whole life. 

First it started with her nursemaid; who dictated her feeding times and eating times and play times and sleep times. Then, it was her father; who told her how to dress, how to act, and how to hold her utensils while she was eating. Then it became her teachers, and school in general - telling her she had to be doing this and that at this and that time. 

So she grew subservient, submissive, obedient. When she had her first boyfriend, someone who, at the time, she was deeply in love with, she was exactly that - following his wishes and his commands, hoping against hope that it would be enough for him. That he wouldn’t leave her. 

But alas, that was exactly what happened. Her blonde eyed blue eyed angel turned his sights away from her, and set them on Sakura - charming, sweet Sakura, that seemed to be everything he ever wanted. 

Hinata couldn’t exactly say for sure when she snapped, but she did. She had had enough; enough of being controlled, enough of people telling her what to do. So when Sasuke Uchiha expressed interest in her, she decided to grab life - and him - by the balls. Both literally and figuratively. 

“If you want us to be in a relationship, you’ll have to follow exactly what I say,” she remembered telling him. “You’ll eat what I tell you to eat, you’ll say what I’ll tell you to say, you’ll beg,” she had stood on her toes, and whispered in his ear while her hand was caressing his stomach, traveling down further and further, “when I tell you to beg,” and she bit his ear. 

Sasuke seemed to agree, his eyes hazy, his hands moving to grasp her and hold her, but she slapped them away. He didn’t get to touch unless she expressed her permission. 

He had to understand that. 

“Get on your knees,” she commanded, her tone dripping in disappointment. “I thought you said you’d do what I’d tell you to do? Well, I didn’t say you could touch me... and you tried to touch me anyway. Don’t you think you deserve to be punished?”

Sasuke’s eyes were still hazy, and HInata was sure that he was wondering what he’d gotten in to. Hinata herself was wondering that, actually... When had she developed such a need to control, to be in charge? She didn’t know, but she could say for certain that she was enjoying the events so far. 

“Yes, I do... Hinata,” he agreed with her, his head bowing to her. She liked this. She liked how empowered he made her feel. 

“How would you like to be punished? And, more than that, are you sure you’re up for a relationship with me?”

“Spanking, sounds good... and yes, of course. Although this isn’t how I imagined it going, I can’t say I’m disappointed in anyway,” his eyes twinkled. 

She smacked his ass. 

“Uchiha, did I say you could ramble? Only answer the questions I tell you to answer.”

He didn’t answer, and she smacked his ass again in punishment. He groaned. 

She could get used to this. 

And later, when people asked her about their relationship and how they started dating, she’d smile mysteriously, and never answer.

Game of Thrones!!!

Sooo I finally caught up to where we are in the show. And let me just say, it’s AMAZING!!! So, me being a shipper by heart, decided to write down my favourite pairings, and decide if i miggghttt write about any of them in the future:

1. Jaime x Cersei - just. Sometimes I find Cersei annoying, but it’s somehow cute how long their love lasted - and how long they managed to fool Robert for :P (and the whole taboo side of it... :D )

2. Tyrion x Sansa - I know most people ship Tyrion and Shae. I know. But I wasn’t able to forgive Shae for speaking out against Tyrion, or for sleeping with his father. He deserves someone better. And technically, they DID marry.

3. Jon Snow x Ygritte - tragic ending, but this may be one of the more cannon pairings I approve.

4. Daenerys x her Dragons - haha, just kidding. But I don’t approve of her and Drogo - I actually prefer her with that guy she was engaged with before he died :( - I dunno his name, but the slave trader guy. 

5. Olenna X Tywin - they’d make a pretty sassy couple.

Innuendos

I’ve been doing this with my friend so much, that i feel like I HAVE to expell this energy. No SasuHina, but some NaruSasu bromance, guys. 

”You know, you can make anything into an innuendo. Literally.” Naruto announced rather loudly, making Sasuke turn his head to stare at him blankly. 

“...” he stayed silent for a few moments, letting his brain process Naruto’s antics. “... What has brought this on, idiot?” he finally managed to ask wryly. Nothing about Naruto should surprise him anymore, he thought warily, but it still did. 

“Well... I dunno... I’ve been thinking...” his cheeks darkened a bit. “Anyway, just give me a word! I’ll show you what I mean.”

Sasuke tilted his head, wondering whether to indulge Naruto’s idiocy. “Fine. Piano.”

Naruto coughed, looked at him with a lazy smirk, and winked. “Baby, I’ve been wondering if I can play your piano... tonight.” 

Sasuke cracked a smile, breaking his emotionless mask in the process. “That was good, I do admit,” he grudgingly said, before a hint of challenge entered his eyes. “But I can do better,” he stated cockily.

“Oh yeah?” Naruto raised an eyebrow. “Bring it on! How about... oranges?”

“I’d love to drink the juice from your oranges,” Sasuke ran a hand through his hair, and looked at Naruto from underneath his eyelashes. 

“Dude, that doesn’t count! I’m a guy!”

Sasuke crossed his arms. “You didn’t specify what kind of pick-up line it had to be. It can be directed at anyone.”

Naruto stuck out his tongue. “Yeah, yeah. Find a way to go around the rules, why don’t you. Well, I’m doing it the proper way!” 

“Fine,” Sasuke agreed, not actually agreeing with him nor caring. “Kid’s show.” Because seriously, there couldn’t have been anything more off-putting than teliltubbies early in the morning - or any time of day.

“I think it’s time to turn this kid’s show into an adult show,” he said slowly, winking.

“You can make anything sound dirty by winking,” Sasuke protested.

Naruto smirked and winked once more. “Your turn. Pillow.”

Sasuke’s smirked stretched so wide, it triumphed over Naruto’s which was an accomplishment by itself. “I can be the pillow for your head tonight.”

Naruto cocked his head for a bit, slightly confused. Then his eyes widened as he understood and he started sniggering. “That was good, man, I do have to admit.”

“I know,” he winked - or tried to - it ended up as an odd eye-spasm-twitch. 

“Do you? You know we can get to know each other SO much better in the bedro-”

He stopped. They both paled and turned, very very slowly.

There stood Hinata, absolutely red in the face, with a small stream of blood dripping from her red nostril. 

“This isn’t... this isn’t what it loo-”

“I’ll... I-I’ll let y-you g-guys know each other better,” she squeaked and absconded.

My Favourite Ever Fanfictions [For Naruto] - [Hinata Pairs]

I think I may or may not reread these once more when I lack inspiration - as I am right now. As I haven’t been updating, I thought to take 10 minutes of my time writing about what other people should have a crack at reading. 

1. Divinity by tranquilwriter 

- This is simply the best piece of literature I have ever read. Engaging plot, dynamic storyline, keeps the readers in suspense - well thought out relationships - no visible plot holes, easy-to-read and yet using eloquent language; everything I’ve ever wanted in a fanfic, or a story, really. This is the fanfiction that got me obsessed with ItaHina. Just... If you haven’t already, give it a shot.

2. Prey for the Hunted by Airyo 

- This is also great. Quite complex (one may get lost at times) but really well written, and with lots of humorous tidbits that characterise Airyo’s writing style. So many genres crammed into one big pie - but they all mix so well with the wooden spoon that the author uses. - Oh and it’s SasuHina with one-sided ItaHina.

3. Treasure by hewhoistomriddle 

- An ItaHina once more. But this time - they are jolly pirates that are raiding the other perfectly legal ships, performing numerous acts of debauchery and felonies to boot, and being really really hilarious along the way. This piece has breathtaking humour, and is a must read. Do not be fooled by the summary - this piece is just... just... there is no other like it, to put it this way.

4. Demon Dance by grainsofsand

- An amazingly well thought out and planned AU, and one of the greatest GaaHinas ever. Have you ever thought what Gaara would be like as a Demon? Well now you have - or rather, now this fic has. An explosion of fantasy and other gimmicks; slow and well developed romance; no complaints.

5. Grains of Sand by Michelle18 

- Ironically, grainsofsand did NOT write Grains of Sand - no, that privilege was done by Michelle18. A light hearted humour that dabbles a bit on Naruto’s thickness, the GaaHina bromance, and whether Gaara really likes Naruto or not. Oh, not to mention Iruka’s undisputed sexiness that has the female nins on the hunt, as well as Kakashi and his long-term rival, Gai. While not to my taste writing wise, the plot and scenarios that every character goes through is worth it.

6. A Man’s World by Asphalt Love

- An extremely well written cliché of Hinata pretending to be a boy and (accidentally) becoming roommates with the notorious Sasuke Uchiha. Of course, the cliche immediately is expanded and lots more plot twists and other crap is added on, and somehow along the way becomes super suspenseful and has you on the edge of your seat. Slow romantic development (a bit too slow for my taste) but extremely well written.

7. The Attraction Effect by kissthesebrokenwings 

- A spy fic of great suspense and huge revelations and cliffhangers. It had ItaTema and kind of anti-ItaHina which made me kind of sad, but other than that - lots of parts were fantastic. And the relationship between Sasuke and Hinata is so complex, so unfathomable and I just love it. One of the only fics that made me kind of sorry for Sakura, who is actually written as a DECENT character, and loves Sasuke but not enough to throw her life away for him - a very DECENT human reaction *cough cough*.

8. Not So Subtle Differences by Darth Taisha 

- Soft, fluffy romance that makes the basic human reactions seem interesting, and drama-filled. Light, engaging dialogue, and an overall good read. Definitely something you can enjoy over tea break, and just feel better afterwards. An ItaHina that shows what might have happened had the Uchiha Massacre not occurred.

9. The Chaos Theory by Bullwinkle’s Lady 

- A time-travel Naruto that ACTUALLY FINISHED, and for that, I say amen to Bullwinkle’s Lady. Very complex and well thought, with a couple of cliffhangers that leave you, well, hanging, for lack of better expression. Can get a bit draggy in some areas, but it is certainly worth it, like all the other fanfictions that I’ve listed. SasuHina, and has some NaruSaku as well that is actually quite enjoyable.

10. Nightmares by Fher34 

- The last in my top 10 list is Nightmares by Fher34. This author has great descriptive writing, and makes the scenes that you are reading incredibly vivid; the imagery is just... phenomenally described. The Sasuke/Hinata relationship is also quite complex here, and the villain character is someone completely new, so I got a bit confused. But overall, GREAT STUFF!

Numb

Looking at the sky, he couldn’t help but blink away watery eyes.

He was twenty-six. He had just gotten promoted as a high up in his father’s company, just gotten recognised by his father. He had found the love of his life, Hinata Hyuuga, and had been planning to propose to her next week. He’d done his best in school his whole life, and had always tried catching up with his elder brother. 

And now this.

It was just a piece of paper, he thought bitterly. He had only decided to go get a medical check up, because he had been feeling a bit... off... recently. He thought it was just a cold. 

He thought.

How was he supposed to know that he had leukaemia? How could anyone guess something like that?

Sasuke wasn’t sure how to feel. Should he feel sad? Angry? Frustrated? But, more than what he should’ve felt, there was something else he felt instead, and probably rightly so: powerless. For the first time in his life, he had finally gotten things where he wanted them, and he was finally in control. 

And yet, with the slip of paper in his hands, that control was immediately eradicated. Destroyed. And he couldn’t do anything to stop it, because after all, it was all in his head, and beyond his conscious control.

Above all, Sasuke felt like he was standing and looking at himself stand and look. Because it all felt so unreal. He’d never really thought about death in depth before - and now here he was, thinking of ways to write a will, even though he was only twenty six. But death came like an uninvited guest, and it didn’t discriminate which house it knocked on - and this became especially obvious now.

What was he going to say to Hinata? Would she cry? Would she move on?

... would she be devastated? How would he deal with it? How would he tell her? It had taken him so long to make her his, it had taken him so long to fully accept the feelings he had for her... so long... and seemingly all for naught.

For naught. But it didn’t matter. Nothing mattered but a way to figure out how to say goodbye to the people - person - he loved most. 

Meanwhile

Hinata looked at the pink mark on the indicator happily. She couldn’t wait to tell Sasuke. He’d always wanted kids.
