At least he didn't use erasable pen. I think with that the heat from the scanner actually erases the pen.

I think the probably ask for pen because a pencil will get blunt over time and if the writing is illegible the examiner will just not mark it. Pens are just more reliable.

It's funny tho because at my school some people still managed to not get the fact that it had to be black pen and used blue. So I'm just glad I'm not those people.
