hello, i would like to have a genshin matchup with a male character for some change :) i go by she/her and my MBTI is ESTP. i would say i am a social, confident person. i definitely need people around me to feel less anxious. i am impulsive, very impatient and i share whatever is on my mind, however strange it may sound. i am passionate, ambitious, emotional, headstrong and i always crave excitement because i will feel easily bored. i love teasing relationships and playful banter. i definitely feel instant attraction to confident, even a bit cocky, intelligent people with some edge (?). but i really dont have a specific type. i love challenges and anything competitive, but i am also quite sensitive and empathetic.

The both of you would likely meet after you got yourself into some trouble in the Avidya Forest. Maybe you climbed and fell from a tree or was dared to bite into some edible-looking plant you really shouldn't eat. Whatever the case, Tighnari would scold you, but still help you out. And that would become a bit of a pattern. You get yourself into some kind of situation, and he makes sure you don't get yourself hurt, or if you do he chides you before fixing you up.

Likes seeing you chase and achieve your goals — it inspires him to set and work toward his own. He is also intrigued by your spontaneity and how fun-loving you are, as that deviates heavily from his own way of life. Despite sometimes nagging you a little, he holds a deep respect for you.

He's known for being sassy, and that adjective would still accurately describe him when he's around you. Though with you his sarcastic little quips seem to be delivered with a small quirk of the lip far more often. He can't stop it from forming. You're amusing to him, despite giving him headaches, and he's grown extremely fond of you.

Tighnari is more of an ambivert, but despite also having an introverted side, he's almost constantly engaging with the Forest Rangers or idiotic people who've found themselves stumbling into the Avidya Forest without a clue of the dangers. So he might prefer engaging in less social activities with you, though he definitely wouldn't be against going out from time to time. He likes seeing you enjoying yourself, after all.

He's a bit of a reader too. Though he mostly reads educational books on botany. Definitely willing to lend them to you if you're interested, or to teach you about the local plant life without the use of books. Could also take a crack at reading books you like. Might even enjoy having you read to him (works you like or ones you've written yourself) while he's preparing different medicines and such.

If he's in need of a local herb, he might just play into your competitive nature and suggest you make a game of who can find it first. Of course, this would only be after he feels you properly grasp the dangers of the forest. He'll show you a sketch of the plant, quickly explain some of it's identifying features, and then you're off. If you win you might just receive a little kiss on the cheek.

Words of affirmation isn't really one of his top love languages, but if you asked him he'd definitely try to use it more. It'd mostly be in private. Suddenly striking up conversation while you're both doing your own thing. "Hey, are you aware that you inspire me?" Looking at you with a softness in his eyes after you've accomplished something. "I'm proud of you. Genuinely."

Originally I was going to go with Heizou, but I was afraid you wouldn't balance each other out very well. I'm honestly still pretty unsure about my choice, and only became more unsure as I was writing, which is why it took a while. Still, hope you like your match!

1. Quality time

Dazai knows that time is short. At any moment, the people in his life can be taken from him. Because of this, he truly takes the time to cherish the moments he shares with those he cares for. Going for a walk, visiting a bar or cafe, or just simply relaxing at home together. If it's time spent with a loved one, it's time well spent.

He'd practically be attached at the hip to a romantic partner. No matter what they're doing, where they're going, there's barely anything that would prevent Dazai from attempting to tag along. He has to be with them, of course. Because if he wasn't, he might miss their smile, their laugh, or some endearing little thing they'd do. They might need his protection too! Of course, Dazai has to come along. It's only logical.

2. Physical touch

He'd be all over a romantic partner — clinging to them at all times. Hugging them, tapping his lap to make them sit, sprawling across their lap on the couch, demanding kisses, holding their hand and swinging it back and forth as they walk. PDA galore.

If his s/o doesn't allow him the physical affection he craves, he'll sulk. "Come onnn. Just a little kiss, I promise!" He'd still try to respect it if his partner was truly uncomfortable with it. Buutt,, he'd be a little bit of a nuisance regardless. Announcing when he wants touch and being like "Oh, who will satisfy my thirst for physical affection? If you don't embrace me soon I might just get so desperate I'll hug Kunikida!"

Though, these actions don't necessarily hold the most weight. The moments that are more genuinely meant to convey his love to someone are typically less energetic. Sitting alone outside, sharing a comforting silence before he suddenly pulls them into him to lean on his shoulder. Or quietly reaching out to hold his s/o as they lay beside each other in the night. Them doing the same sort of things to him will also make him feel loved.

3. Acts of service

He isn't one to do this much himself. Though if he happens to hear his s/o mention they need something, and he finds himself at the store later that day, he could definitely pick it up for them.

If someone does an act of service for him however, it actually means quite a lot; more than he thought it would. Someone doing something for him, something he didn't even ask them to do — it feels as if they're acknowledging his humanity. That he too is a person that might need help every now and then. It's not something he expects from another person, so when it happens it can catch him off guard, bringing a warmth to his chest.

4. Words of affirmation

He's very good at giving compliments and smoothly making someone feel special. These compliments, however, rarely feel genuine on his part. He either does it to get something out of the person or to entertain himself or others. Of course, it can be to get a smile out of his loved one, but he doesn't really think much about the words spilling out of his lips in those moments. "You are the light of my life! My one and only! Beauty that compares to the gods!"

The jokey, energetic flare can also be dropped in favor of something that sounds more serious. "You can do it. I've seen you do it many times before, and you can do it again. You won't fail." But he will still feel detached from it, as if he's reading from a script. He wants to be real, to share true words of love, but it all feels so fake to him no matter what he says. It's much easier for him to pull his partner close, to hold them, and hope they understand.

Him receiving affirmation is also conflicting, unfortunately. Dazai isn’t used to it, and a lot of it really doesn’t reach him on an emotional level. It just feels like empty words being thrown at the walls he’s built up around him.

However, when those words do reach him, he feels it very strongly. It’s soft, fluttery, and makes him feel an unfamiliar warmth… and that almost scares him. He’s not sure how to handle it. The phoniness of his words becomes so blaringly obvious and ugly in comparison to theirs. He’s not sure he could give them anything real in return, not sure he deserves it.

5. Gift giving

Whilst he would appreciate getting gifts, it wouldn't instinctually register in his mind as something being done out of love for him. He received a gift, cool! Now he has a thing someone gave him! ...What should he do with it?

He also isn't a big gift giver himself. Sure, he might give a little something for a birthday or something, but he's not one to constaltly shower people in gifts. It's just not a love language that comes naturally to him at all.

Headcanons are ideas or theories about a character that aren't explicitly supported by canon. I typically write them in a bullet point fashion.

Genderfluid Albedo headcanons

Happy pride month!

Cw: mild dysphoria

Out of any terms, they'd feel most comfortable being referred to as nonbinary

Despite knowing, looking at the way their gender shifts and moves, that they are genderfluid

No matter which gender they feel, they'd prefer they/them pronouns

Which is why that's the first thing they'd change after coming out

Wouldn't really hide their genderqueerness, though wouldn't show it off either

After coming out they just kind of… exist like normal still. Nothing really changes much

Though they might slowly warm up to wearing skirts under their lab coat whenever the mood strikes

No one really makes a big deal of their gender which is nice

Though of course people still have some questions

Especially their assistants, who are inquisitive by nature

Albedo simply shares what they know, and assures them they'll elaborate more once they've figured more out themselves

Honestly, Albedo's fine with most terms

Genderfluid, genderqueer, multigender, what have you

As long as it's an accurate descriptor, it's adequate to use

They're amab, although some people struggled to tell their gender even before they came out

For the most part they feel like some… mix of genders?

A hint of female, a hint of male, a hint of agender, maybe a hint of something else too, but it all very neatly forms into one gender

And sometimes they drift into feeling more female, and sometimes more male, and sometimes very agender, and the list goes on and on

At one point they felt like they resonated very heavily with the chair in their lab… in a gender sense?? They struggled to understand that one

Definitely keeps a notebook (at least in the start while they're figuring everything out) detailing when their gender changes, what it switches to, etc

So they can see how often they feel like certain genders, if there are any patterns and whatnot

Also notes down their thoughts and what gives dysphoria and euphoria

Although they don't really feel much dysphoria at all

Occasionally it's there, a small, uncomfortable feeling nipping at the back of their mind, telling them something isn't as it should be

But it's never really more than that

Was originally going to make a banner for "Wanderer with a Genderfluid s/o" but quickly realized it looked more like Wanderer was genderfluid and thought oOoo so I wrote it lol

If someone doesn't know of his genderfluidity though then he's typically fine with people thinking he's just male

But he passes VERY well as a man, so no one can really tell

Not like he would willingly let anyone know his birth gender either

He prefers he/him pronouns… most of the time

They/them doesn't resonate with him very often

And she/her makes him dysphoric

Of course neopronouns are an option but 1. none of them feel completely right 2. he doesn't want to deal with people forgetting his pronouns all the damn time and 3. half of them would make him sound like some kind of fairy

So the few times he/him or they/them's not feeling right he just… doesn't want to be refered to with pronouns

From the few times he's actually tried to pay attention to which genders he's switching between, he's figured out he occasionally feels agender, demiboy, or some kind of bigender, but mostly male

He never experiences any feminine genders

So almost boyflux but not quite

Honestly he's not too big on the term genderfluid

He prefers transmasc, even if it doesn't fully encompass his experience

Does not feel like the terms nonbinary or genderqueer are right for him either

Especially avoids genderqueer because queer has some history of being a slur and he'd rather not attach a slur to himself

That's also the reason he'd avoid the term "tranny" for himself, even if a lot of trans people use it

Though he could still use it for others "What are you, some kind of tranny?" he's evil and controversial please cancel him

Definitely experiences dysphoria

To him it's very sharp and noticable

If someone calls him "she" it's almost like they just jabbed a knife into his chest

Some things could moreso be compared with needles (e.g. seeing his hands out of the corner of his eyes and noticing how feminine they look)

Other times it makes him feel like he's being crushed alive

Enough to make him spiral into a breakdown

Binders help though. They're his savior

WILL injure himself from wearing them too much :(
