I've been looking for a very specific fan fiction for several days now, but I can't seem to get my hands on it again.

It's an irondad where Peter gets bitten by the spider, and the story focuses on his mutation and all the effects of the transformation. I remember that in this story, Peter reaches such a critical state that he's supposed to die because of the fever and symptoms. Tony is with him the whole time already in grief. It's sad as fuck. Tooth rooting as fuck. But finally Peter becomes Spiderman after this slow agony.

But the spider is more of a devil on Peter's shoulder than anything else. The spider is violent and encourages Peter to kill criminals and torture people to get information. The spider manipulates Peter's emotions when Peter doesn't follow his desires. This leaves Peter constantly struggling between his ingrained morals (thanks, uncle ben, and aunt may!) and his loyalty to the spider who gave him the power to help others.

Almost a symbiote kind of situation but with less mind/body control and more gaslighting. Haha.

I feel like this has the potential to go all kinds of ways. Especially if Tony, MJ, Ned, or even Hydra somehow gets involved.

I was walking with like ten layers on today (I live in eastern Canada in late December) and I could only picture Tony REFUSING to let Peter leave the tower without bundling him up in a sweater, jacket, gloves, a hat, winter boots, fucking SNOW-PANTS!!!

This starts because Tony nearly sends himself into cardiac arrest when he Peter shows up to the lab in the middle of January wearing just jeans and a T-shirt because teenage boys are under the impression that they’re immune to the cold.
