Entry 2

Question: How did your first day go?

Yesterday was the first day of junior year. It was really fucked but I handled it better then I would have expected. The night before was a serious ventour. I was out with nick, aidan & Angela till like 11, then it was just me & Angela till like 1 am smoking. When she got picked up it was already 1:30, my house was a half hour walk from se•port & I got home at 2 undetected might I add. I had a full face of makeup on though not to mention covered in dirt & sweat from the walk home & I reeked of pot so taking a long shower wasn't optional. I washed my hair, face & shaved my legs. I finally got in bed at around 3:20 am... a whole 40 minutes before I had to wake up. So yeah. But I did! I woke up got dressed & and put on all the makeup I had just washed off not an hour ago. Not only did I do all that but I did it all on time! I got yelled at for sleeping in class 1st & 2nd but hey I WAS there. The whole day I wanted to DIE! I was tired & hungry cause I had no time to eat, but I got to all my classes did all my work & then after ALL THAT I came home got redressed & walked directly to work, after that demo practice & AFTER THAT STILL MMA class. During alchemy (mma school) Angela texted me... she was in trouble with this guy & after about an hour of convincing her to let us help her & for her to tell us where she was, we left and drove half way across the island to pick her up in this shady ass neighborhood. Aidan's mom tried to tell us we couldn't go, nick tried to tell us we shouldn't go, Angela thought we wouldn't go. I argued with my dad the whole way to pick her up, convincing him she NEEDED to stay with us if it was only for tonight. It took a lot of will to stay calm & debate with him instead of fight. If he's been in front of me while we were having this discussion he would have been dead in the floor with his head across the room. But again I didn't freak out & I was really glad she agreed to stay at my house. I don't know what she's going to do next but she's one of my best friends & I'm going to do everything i can.

Question: why are you here? I am here now in 9th period English because i decided to get up & join the world today. I’m tired, i can still feel the effects of my bad choices from last night weighing down on me. I got an hour& a half of sleep… & i got up… & did what i was meant to. Do i WANT to be here? God no! But i also want to exceed prior expectations, i want to go to collage. Even if everyone is convinced i CANT or WONT. Fuck em’! I will. I guess i’m too afraid to fail or maybe to proud to fail. I guess it’s as good of a drive as any, even if it is the the mortal folly of every ancient dead Greek hero ever. I’ll make it work some how.
