[Sun-1-9-22 but really Sat-1-8-22 ]: The 355 movie! What great action, spy movie! I was little annoyed by the subtitles which i notmally dont mind. But i wasnt expecting to be reading like it was an anime. It's not bad but not expected? Haha. The story was good. The twist and turns of as the movie goes was fun and interesting. The Action!!! Action is so good in this movie! Never a boring in any of the action scenes! Freaking awesome. The Kill box technique is used in the film and "oooo was it so dirty and slicky applied. Hot diddly-skiddly!" The Spies: American spy...is who we follow the entire film. She was great. On point with her shots and sudden deadly-ness. German spy woman...i freaking love her! Her tenacity, grit, and refusing to quit nor trust people was so awesome. Also, she was on point with her shots for the most part. British spy woman...HUGE watch dogs 1, 2 and legion vibes ...hacks, blackouts and gun style. Colombian therapist. She wasnt a spy but was drafted into the spy team. She represents what us on-lookers would say and think being part of a spy team. Asian spy...i love how she was implemented! So smart, business smarts, tech savvy, and kung-fu actions was awesome! Love the banter between the American and German spy. These kept fighting fight other and it was awesome! When plot twist is revealed of main villain u dont get too surprise cuz films like this do that almost all the time. But just cuz i can see the reveal a mile away dont make it less exciting if characters execute their stuff properly. Death scenes are brutal. One scene in particular has me like "OH SHHHEEEETTTT!!! YALL KILLING *SPOILER* *SPOILER?!!!* Nah! Okay, okay. We doing this! Lets go!" One Quote from the film: "We put ourselves in danger so others are not." The 355 is a fun action, spy movie with kinda predictable villain reveals. You will get your action fix, surprisingly plot twist and suspenseful moments. [Sun-1-8-22 but really Fri-1-7-22 ]: Sing 2!!! I didnt see the 1st Sing movie..."yea, yea. I know. I'm one of those. Big hair, Dont care!" XD. Anyway, Sing 2 was better than i thought it would be. I think impact of the characters would have met more if i saw the 1st movie but is not needed to get what's going on. Summary of film: A theater manager, Mr. Moon wants to do a big show in Red Shore with his cast but is told not possible. Mr. Moon ignores that and goes anyway. Lots of things happen with drama, laughs, surprisingly deep heart felt moments, amazing final act that wraps the movie in a nice little bow." [Best summary ever! XD] Keep in mind this movie is an animal animation film.This Red Shore place is basically Las Vegas.Great music choices. The segment that played the song, "i still havent found what i am looking for" by U2, [it's in the trailer],....the scene had so much feels! Like the audience in the movie gets into it and...mmmmmm. i was like raising and swinging my fone back and forth lit up to that segment in the theater....oh the feels!!! The final act.... WOW! Like u go through the story that leads up to this final act... i mean, just amazing, fantastic, awesome scenes all around! Singing, dancing, cheering, suspense, silliness and just some "Oh-la-la" moments. Two shoutouts of the final act i wanna mention...#1- Gorilla War planet parts are fantastic! So much could be said those scenes alone. #2- Piggy saving *spoiler* from *spoiler* #3-the final planet segment... just everything about that part anyone can relate to... suffer from lost...like death or daily discouragement. Quotes from film: "Dont worry about what someone u dont know think. Do you think you're good enough?" "Hang in there. The 1st week is always the hardest." "Its only when we suffer that we can be great." Not a quote but this may be the theme of the movie: "Follow your dreams & let no one put u down for them." Sing 2 was great! [Mon-12-27-21]: The King's Man movie! Full disclosure....i have never seen any of the King's Men films and i believe this one is a prequel to the others so.... GREAT START into the series! XD My lame puns aside, The King's Man is an awesome, action packed movie with suspense and plot twist that will have you saying WTF?!!! Oh, when i say WTF, I mean "Why The Face?!" [Modern Family reference]. Anyway, the story is really good. Main villain is kept secret all the way till the final battle. When its reveal, you will either get it or say "WTF =WHY THE FACE?!" The fight sequences are SUPER GOOD! LIKE OH SNAP! SUPER GOOD! The war scenes, final battle scene and all the other action scenes are spectacular! The characters are all GREAT in this. The Russian Preacher! Give that man an Oscar! His performance so GOOD AND so HILARIOUS!!!! The banter, the vulgarness, the arrogance backed up with his observational skills is freaking amazing! OH MY GOODNESS!!! His scenes with the main characters alone is worth the watch. But will warn you...u may get creeped out... One quote from this movie that sums up the film for me: "Reputation is what people think of you. Character is who you are." Mmmmm. The King's Man is an awesome movie to watch if you looking for action, good story, plot twist with crazy suspense. You will catch feels especially for some unexpected twist that happens in the story. As someone who never seen these King's Men movies, i wanna see the others now. If i say that, then the movie did its job, i suppose. Heh heh. PS: oh yea! there is mid credit scene. [M-12-20-21 but really U-12-19-21]: King Richard movie!!! This was 1 of the November movies i wanted 2 C but couldnt cuz "reasons!!!" Anyway, King Richard tells the story of Richard Williams raising the now famous Tennis players Venus and Serena Williams. Will Smith does an awesome job as Richard. The entire cast was fantastic! The movie is more focus on Venus than Serena cuz of the story but i like how Serena got her shine in too. Very cool. Good cinematography and music. The movie did not end the way i thought it would which was pretty good. Some quotes: "Dont worry about what other people doing. Focus on what you doing." "Stay humble. Stay calm. Stay clean." "Stay humble no matter what happens." "Dont worry about what people say about you. People will always talk." "Stay focus and dont be afraid." King Richard is great film to watch. Hard work, determination, and focus goes a long way. Richard loves his family with strength, stubbornness, tenacity and determination to see them through. To compare this movie to something...it's the Super Smash Bros Ultimate of Spider-Man! The story, the comedy, the action, the visuals, the cameos, the mutiple plot twists are beyond amazing! I am watching this movie and thinking to myself, "How did they pull this off?! Similar to Sora being in smash ultimate." If you are fan of Spider-Man, U MUST C THIS MOVIE...LIKE RIGHT NOW! [Fri-12-17-21]: Encanto movie!!! One of several movies i was too busy to see in November cuz "reasons!" B4 this movie played, a Disney short played called... "Far from the Tree short". So good and emotional! Ahhh. Right in the feels! Now to Encanto. The movie was good! If you saw the trailer for this movie then u know what is happening. Family has magic powers due to a magic candle; Mirabel [main character] is only member without powers, lots of things happen, adventures and mystery as we see why the powers are weakening....the answer is pretty shocking. Encanto is visually gorgeous! Definitely has that "Oooh!" & "Ahhh!" feel to it mixed with Disney magic. Music was good. Antonio gift scene was great! Loved how they added layers to some of the different powers...specially the "strength" and "perfect graceful beauty" abilities. Love how that was handled. Super relatable. Two Quotes from the film: "Remember, you have nothing to prove." "You are the miracle." I don't like how the movie ends so sudden. They could have expanded more on that last scene. Come on. Let me know what happen to *spoiler* *spoiler* after he/she did *spoiler* *spoiler* Encanto was a good film. Great visuals, fun adventure and mystery, promoting positivity in being yourself and just cuz u dont have powers dont mean u aint special. Great film for the kids and all that. Thats all i got. [Sun-11-14-21 but really Sat-11-13-21]: Spencer movie!!! Movie is a fable based on true things i guess? Film focuses on Princess Diana. I dont care for the royals like most do in that "getting obessed with them nonsense" but i always had a soft spot for Princess Diana. Her untimely death still sucks man. (Sigh) Anyway, in this movie... They make it seem that Princess Diana is crazy and losing her mind. In this movie you can see the struggles Diana was facing. However my problem with this film is 'how much of this was real and how much was ficition? Movie warns early on this is a fable but there is gonna be some truth in "fiction" right?Distance camera angles is my standout for this film. Lots of zoom outs of landscapes to capture scenery amd people. It's so specific about too.Another standout is the music. Music sets the tone for each scene. Lots of violin and piano tunes. Nice stuff. Princess Diana seemed annoyed with her family. She wants to do her own thing but they stop her or disapprove? The Soup scene with pearls didnt make sense which i wont spoil here. Just that it was weird. Some quotes from the film: "Past and Present is the same thing here" "Beauty is useless." "You have to make ur body do things you hate for the good of the country." "They dont want us to be people." "Some things are best left unsaid." "Your oath is all that matters." Spencer is an interesting film. I got feels at times. The actors are good. I think Kristen Stewart did a good job portraying Princess Diana. There are moments of brillance, heart and charm with this movie. The interworking of relationships with Diana and her family is so interesting. Her waiting to rebel against how things are done is super relatable. That's all i got for this review. Peace. [Sunday-11-7-21 but really Sat-11-6-21]: >>> Swipe Right for more pics>>> The Eternals movie! It was good. Characters get a good o amount of screen time for the most part. Each Eternal get their backstory explained with their powers. There are some funny moments especially when the camera guy joins the story. Hilarious! Movie does an interesting thing with the villain which adds more feels to the various plot twist in the movie. It will definitely shock you if your not prepared for it. I saw this movie in 3D because the trailer felt like it would be best viewed that way. It did not disappoint! I even jumped at one of the screens cuz the 3D coming at me in one of the scenes. Action scenes were great. The visuals were cool and even better in 3D. The whole exploration of the movie was good. People die in this which surprising. My annoyances with the movie: the movie is 2 hours and 37 mins long. That didnt bother me but the trailers b4 this movie started did. It wasnt the trailers themselves but rather how long and many trailers played b4 The Eternals played. Like "dude if ur movie is over 2hours and 35mins long, dont be showing me 25+ minutes worth of trailers! Now that i think about it, that means this movie experience was over 3hours long! Brah! Stop it! Dune was over 2hrs and 30mins long yet dont recall 25+minute trailers. Stop it!" *unexpected rant over* There are two end credits for the movie. One plays midway of the credits. The 2nd one plays at the very end of the credits. The Eternals was good. Good action, visuals, plot twist, and funnies. I think i would see it again. Just wonder how this movie will link with the other Marvel films. I wanna preference two things b4 starting this review. #1- i wanna see this movie again cuz it was so good and creepy and sick and whoa! #2- Shout out to Watch_Dogs Legion for setting the game in London. It's cuz of that game i have a better understanding of London, its landmarks and vibes espeically their pubs! Heh heh heh. Movie started off with a girl named Ellie wanted to be a fashion designer; gets accepted to fashion school in London; super weird things happen while she is in London, creepy thirsty men fitting stereotype about...."u know..." more weird things happen and...yea.... the movie really picks up when Ellie gets her own place. That changes everything...which is essentially the things u see in the trailer but so much is HIDDEN!!! The dark themes in this movie....whoa...themes like being a whore, sexism, "no means no!" & other themes get highlighted here. Soundtrack was good. Quotes from the movie i sort of remembered: "Clothes dont wear the person. The person wears the clothes" "U dont have anything to prove. It's okay to ask for help" The plot twists were CRAZY!!!!!! The main draw to this movie....the "why do u exist movie" or "how r u different from another scary movie" is that Ellie gets the ability to go back to the 1960s to see how this lady name Sandy lived. I know that doesnt sound like anything but when u see Sandy and how she is...."Hmmmmm!" XD Minor things i like were the costumes, the setting, the lights, the vibes and atmosphere. Yhese are done so well here. Last Night In Soho is a good Halloween film. [Sat-10-23-21]: Ron's Gone Wrong movie! Movie was better than i thought! Heart of the movie is making friends and it's fine to be unique. The movie has a smart mix of making friends through social media vs nonsocial media way if making friends...while having to deal with privacy issues of social media. School scene with unlocked Ron mode! Craziness! It was action scene after action scene...and sequence and sequence for Craziness! Rocks vs Electricity. Inside joke. Heh heh. [Friday-10-22-21]: Dune movie!!! To be quite honest, i dont know how to explain this movie properly. Apparently this movie was done in the 80s and is based on a book or something? Sorry if I'm completely clueless about it. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️ Dune was good, long, and confusing. Movie is 2hours and 35 mins long. The good portion of the movie explains "the rules of the film" so to speak. Things start getting real in like 1hr and 15mins of the movie. Some might feel elsewise. The twist and turns the movie throw at you through was good. The death count in this is alot! People I didnt expect to die, got killed in sick ways. Two main amazing things the movie does well is the environment and visuals. These visuals are awesome! The action scenes with said visuals are awesome!! The environments looks visually awesome!!! "Yea, u get the idea. Visuals equals awesome!!!!" 😂 Again, Dune was good, long and confusing. If you read the book then the movie will connect much better. That isnt to say you dont get what is going on the entire time. [Saturday 10-16-21]: Halloween Kills movie!!! This movie is frightfully good!!! I am not into movies like this but i felt its appeal. The movie vibes felt liek the other movies but more modern if that makes sense. Jump scares ate "ahhh!" Michael Myers is as frightening as ever! The kills are super bloody and gory! Michael's onscreen presence was scary. Kinda reminded me of Joker from the Dark Knight with some of his face stance poses. This movie has a good soundtrack. Quotes: "Evil dies tonight!" That is the only quote this movie needs! "Evil dies tonight..." or does it???? Muahahahaha! Ending didnt make sense.
