i just thought of this idea for a book but i kinda feel like it’s already a thing… like there’s a movie that i watched with this?

idk… basically the idea is that this girl (high school or college age) is looking through her childhood home’s attic. she finds a box full of letters. it’s either unsent letters her mom wrote or letters her mom received from like a pen pall or boyfriend or something

the Gods are on the verge of losing Olympus so they do the only thing they can at this moment, they send both Percy and Annabeth back to when they were 11 years old.

Percy wakes up in the infirmary after fighting the Minotaur and losing his mom

Annabeth wakes up in the Athena cabin. she looks around and realizes what happened and runs straight to the infirmary where she knows Percy will be if she’s right

headcanon that the LoA gave the batfam names since they're a threat to them and had to deal with them a lot.

bruce, damian and jason canonically have league codenames (bat, son of the bat and I rise respectively) but the rest don't so I'm giving it to them.

20 yr old dick (or whenever he was very new at being nightwing) showing up to the manor and hes just chilling w jaybin and then bruce enters the room and they stop and stare at each other cos theyve got the same haircut.

and neither says a word, because even though for some reason bruce wants to comment in it, he knows it will piss dick off, and dick is absolutely seething at the fact that the first time he gets a haircut in Months his dumbass dad ALSO gets the SAME cut, and he almost wants to ask 'are you spying on me?? is this on purpose???' but of course, he doesnt.

meanwhile jaybin is just staring wide eyed at them both like a tennis match, not knowing how to respond (he really really really wants to laugh)

Batman gets hit with something that makes him lose all his memories up until Dick’s second year of being Robin.

Dick is the one who finds him first. Bruce immediately recognises him because of course he does, that’s his son, he would know him just from the cadence of his walk, even though he’s grown into his limbs and lost the awkward pitter-patter of a growing boy. He would know him just from his voice, even if it’s now the voice of a 28 year old man instead of a 10 year old boy.

He knows next to nothing about the great things Nightwing has achieved and yet he’s maybe just slightly choked up when he throws one long look at him and says “you’ve turned out better than anything I could have ever expected” and Dick is maybe also slightly choked up because Bruce has no idea the impact those words have on him.

He has no idea this is the most open version of himself that Dick has spoken to ever since they lost Jason. He has no idea that despite Dick knowing that Bruce is proud of him and what he’s achieved, it still hits him hard when he actually hears the words out of his mouth. Bruce has no idea how much it hurt to be confronted with the version of his Batman that he misses so much and resigned to never seeing again.

And when Bruce regains his memory and they go back to the status quo, neither of them daring to mention that moment, every time Bruce does something that infuriates him, every time his words seem harsh without regard, he’s going to remember those words and sometimes that still doesn’t change a thing but sometimes, sometimes it does.
