The Channel Awesome movies are a mess of poor decisions, unoriginal ideas, and misguided directing. Here's why I kind of love them anyway

Results of the Josh Fight
Everyone, I’m pleased to report that the Josh fight happened, in all its chaotic glory. The winner is Little Josh, aged five. Congratulations to the last Josh. You, little one, are going to have much a cool story to tell when you’re an adult

We hear the term Mary Sue thrown around a lot, but few people know its true origins.

It’s been nearly four years since the adult content purge and I still get followed by porn bots, the one thing we actually wanted gone from the site

The weird store that Melanie and Georgie got their food from was Omega Mart. You can’t convince me otherwise.

Infected Alice says her last thought was ‘it’s all your fault’, which we’re supposed to believe is directed at Bill, confirming his own fears. Now, while Alice can be selfish, I think she really does love her dad and wouldn’t blame him for this. I think this was a clever lie/act of misdirection on the Hive’s part. I think Alice’s last thought was exactly ‘it’s all your fault’ directed at herself. Her fault she got off and stayed in Hatchetfield, when she could have stayed on the bus. Her fault she’s trapped. Her fault her dad is probably going to die trying to save her.

The song Peanuts the Hatchetfield Pocket Squirrel (and the video that goes with it) gives me Jackbox vibes and I have absolutely no idea why

On the subject of what happened to the world after everything was over, its been repeatedly stated that apocalypse worked on dream logic. So, like a dream, the memory of it might fade over time. Maybe people won’t fully forget, like the way you can sometimes slightly remember a terrible nightmare for years, but the fear and details of it all will blur until its barely there.

The year is 2043. The world is changing rapidly. Destiel has just become canon in Polish. Misha Collins is still vague posting on Twitter. Life is good.

Finding out that Oppa Homeless Style, one of Tumblr’s landmark fake stories, didn’t even originate from Tumblr feels like the ultimate form of betrayal.

I’ll forever be in love with the fact that when some parents started calling Starkid a satanic cult, the reaction they gave was basically “heck yeah we are. Satan is a real man” and we all stuck with it for years.

This weeks episode of TMA has proved that the archive team has about 5 braincells between them and Jon owns none of them.

The song Marketland by Lemon Demon gives off strong TMA statement vibes. Like season 1 or 2 statements. The entire town is pretty much the same, there’s a sense that the narrator can’t escape, everything is weirdly dirty or rotten, all the people are haggard and won’t stop harassing him, the items for sale grow increasingly bizarre and off putting as the song goes on, there’s a sense that everything is out of sync with modern times but you’re not really sure WHEN it’s supposed to be anyway, and the narrator can’t find anything they actually want or need even as he grows hungry and distressed. Prime TMA content.
