Topic: Pajamas or Le Nude? Feat. Task Force 141

Captain John Price

I feel like this man would have some dignity and do the whole plain tee and those flannel pajama pant-combo when at home.... and he would definitely wear socks to bed. Would also have lots of blankets maybe? Basically dad-vibes all the way. While on missions, that hat of his would be snug over his eyes and he'd be the guy who'd sleep in any kind of chair with his arms crossed.... probably snores.

Lieutenant Simon "Ghost" Riley

At home, black tee with grey sweatpants (THE SWEATPANTS) combo: hands down, fight me. I feel like wearing the mask is second nature, a second skin, for him. So in or even out of his home, something would be on his face when he sleeps - probably. Simon would probably be willing to wear the balaclava around Task Force 141 maybe? But with other squadmates or on missions? Full kit, uniform, and that full on skull mask. He would probably sleep very little - always on alert. If Simon found himself even drifting off? He's the world's lightest sleeper and would even have his finger on the trigger at the ready.

Sergeant Johnny "Soap" MacTavish

Man has no shame. Full commando at home. No prisoners, no mercy. Look, the Scotsman runs warm. Very, VERY warm. There may have been times he's just walked straight out around the rest of TF141 and just not given a damn. The poor lads had that image burnt into their minds for weeks - Simon couldn't look at Johnny the same way for over a month. Around on missions? Eh, same as the others - still in full kit and uniform. Johnny would probably be leaned up against a wall or doorframe with his head maybe drooped down to the side or towards his chest.... Definitely snores or mutters in his sleep.

Sergeant Kyle "Gaz" Garrick

Kyle would probably be relatively comfortable enough to either sport just boxers, just pj pants, or just a teeshirt with boxers combo - not overly exposed but still comfy. He runs somewhere in the middle temperature wise so his choice in sleepwear works for cold or warm nights. On missions, uniform all the way. I could see him maybe being slumped over a table or something - maybe chin in hand while he tries to fight off the sleep... only to flop over with a thud. He was also the first person to witness SCOTLAND FOREVER-Johnny.... He might have fainted. Maybe.

Topic: Dogs or Cats?

Today's victim to my mind and all that is in it:

Johnny "Soap" MacTavish

Johnny is definitely more of a dog person.

Doesn't mind cats, but prefers dogs because they can encourage him to stay active with runs or walks or dog park days.

Cats not so much.

He claims to be into the large breeds, such as retrievers, labs, huskies etc.

This man has a soft spot for the small toy breeds. THEY MELT HIS HEART.

You bet your ass if you bought home a tiny little thing - Chihuahua, Boston Terrier, a Pomeranian for example - he would immediately enter baby talk that was LACED with sheer Scottish: hard to understand, loud, spoken way too quickly, but still wholesome.

The dog's collar, harness, leash etc. would sport SCOTLAND FOREVER vibes for sure. Gotta represent!

Johnny is also probably that guy who carries the dog with him everywhere...

And I mean EVERYWHERE.

Meetings, to the gym, around the house, around base, even during inspection!

Not missions though, thank you Capt. Price for being the voice of reason.

Johnny also carries the pup either in his backpack, hoodie, or one of those puppy pouch carry things:

It isn't.

But he'll wear it like a champ!

So, this idea hit me while I sat on break.

Our boy be scary and big.

Simon Riley, GHOST, is a literal man-killing behemoth. Nothing seems to even phase this man after all the shit he's been drug through and back- Shout out to all the ones who've read the comics. Ya'll know what I'm talking about.

BUT.

BUT.

I feel like that man would have a completey non-existent, 0%, OH HELL NO-spice tolerance.

So much so that even bell peppers hurt - AND BELL PEPPERS AREN'T EVEN SPICY. Black pepper is as far as he'll go.

Added headcanon: The rest of 141 found out when Soap decided putting a dab of tabasco on Ghost's lunch was a good idea. Update: It wasn't. We haven't seen Ghost leave his room for 3 days out of embarrassment and Soap's black eye is still very noticeable.
