autumn is really like. i brought you some sunlight from when you were 10. didn't the world feel so bright to you then? i'll drench your hands in syrupy nostalgia, so everything you make is stained bittersweet. i'll ruffle your hair with an ice-kissed breeze--it'll be the kindest touch you've had in years. you finally feel like a part of something grander. i'm the last warm hand you hold before winter surrender.

Oh for love must be so sweet. Waking up with your eyes pinned to your lover so that you can adore everything from their curls to the redness on their cheeks, to these tiny little freckles on their nose and those lips you kissed last night that tasted like they were made in heaven. Love must be so sweet that the face of your lover looks to you like greater art than all the paintings of the world bore you to death if it‘s not your young loves face.

i realized two things today:
first, my exchange teaches me a lot about myself and one of those things is that i‘m lost and that i‘m successful but these things don‘t contradict each other. It just means that my success looks not the way i expected it to be and i‘m learning how to deal with that right now
and the other thing i know is that stuff feels more real if you do things just for you and share them with the world not to brag but to spread ur happiness so it will affect others as well

Be crazy, be wild. Find your vibe and if it includes to swirl coffee in a wine glass then go for it! You aren’t here to please your parents or teachers. You are on earth to do beautiful things and it’s on you to decide what is truly beautiful. It could be Arts, it could be Academics, it could be the shining moon or their deep blue eyes.

in context of the confirmation that Loki is not only gender fluid but also bi, a lot of people started to think Disney was trying to get “woke points” and criticized that. Here my thoughts on why this kind of criticism is a bit problematic:
The open representation of queer people (so roughly 10+% of the population) in the media is considered “woke points” while it’s actually just people and characters being themselves
if there is a queer character, the story doesn’t have to be about their queerness. Like we know Loki is gender fluid, but no one ever talked about this and we don’t have to, because thats what normalization is: we accept it and move on, knowing that for Loki we use they/them pronouns
same goes for other maybe queer characters like Bucky or Valkyrie: Marvel and Disney can just state they are bi/pan/lesbian and then we move on, knowing their sexuality and everything’s fine
it’s not woke, it’s normal and we should start treating it like normal
like i won’t come out as bi to my parents i figured out, because i have a pride flag above my bed and my mom even changed to use only “partner” in describing a relationship partner in context with me and i talk about lgbtqia+ rights all the time and i talk about girls and boys in the same adoring way and i guess if they don’t figure out and just move on, they’ll figure out when i bring someone home and then they have to be fine with it, because i am probably in love with that person

i still need feminism, because my dad tells me, that even if it’s not okay for boys to touch me or rape me when wearing something skin-showing, he still believes that i am asking for it and that i should expect it.
He compared me, a girl, to a good looking car and said if you leave the car unlocked in the city someone will take it…
Dad, please understand, that i am a human, not an object and that me wearing a skirt is not a good comparison to a intentionally unlocked car. I am literally just a girl that felt cute in the skirt and wants men to please just not sexualize me immediately or if they do, then they please have enough self control to not show it to me. It’s called respecting someones boundaries and privacy.
when i wanted to tell him that he is objectifying me and all women and agrees with the people that think my clothing represents my consent he shout me down and said that he does not want to discuss on that kind of level with me. What level are you talking about? The low level where you don’t wanna talk to the group that actually experienced the bullcrap and that feels very uncomfortable around men, because she might disagree with you for actual reasons.

i just wanna say to every teenager: your dreams and ideas and thoughts are valid! And it doesn’t matter if your dream is a pent house in new york, being a mom/dad, opening a bakery or mastering sewing!
Don’t let people stop you from achieving your dream by saying stupid stuff like “it’s hard, you know?” or “that’s nothing you can earn money for a living” or “think about your future and the consequences”
Because it’s your dream and no one else than yourself is in the position of judging it!
I am now in a position where people make me overthink my goal and my values every f*cking day and every day I come to the conclusion, that I am f*cking exhausted from all this overthinking and that my dream is valid and that my values are valid and that it’s totally okay, that I want to fight for things that others don’t care about!
So yeah: teach teenagers that it’s okay to be different, to fight for stuff, to be loud, to talk about what is important to them and teach them, that it’s okay if their goal looks different from what the next persons looks like!

I miss the honesty you brought with you. While I laughed, you saw I was sad and while I played a cold shell you saw the pain beneath it. You always saw the pressure I put on myself, trying to be worthy of the honor to walk this earth.
And with all the honesty within you, you told me I was. And even if I can’t agree, I hope everyone has someone like you walking this earth with them. Because maybe I didn’t change a single thing on earth, but you changed me and that for the better, so please stay a longer.

Daily reminder why we still need feminism:
Women can become whatever they want, they say, but I say:” Women still have to prove they can become whatever they want.”
Because a female lawyer first has to prove she can do the job and if she can she is bossy.
A mom first has to prove that she can handle both career and family and if she can she is a bad mom.
A woman first has to prove, that she doesn’t need a man nor kids to he happy and fulfilled and if she doesn’t need those things she is a cold-hearted bitch.
A woman that stays at home, keeps an eye on her kids and keeps the house clean has to prove that she is a strong, independent woman and if she is, than she is still not emancipated enough.
So don’t tell me that you think women can already do whatever they want and that we don’t need feminism. We need feminism, because every decision we make is negatively judged by society or made by society.
Stop keeping women away from living the life they want and start supporting women living the life they want!
PS: this also applies to what women wear! If a woman decides to wear a shorts or a hijab or whatever they want, it’s not your place to judge about it or try to convince her to put on something else or force her to wear something else!

something weird just happened… so we had a class test and of course i attended and i finished early. So i asked my teacher if i could go outside with my iPad and they said yes, so i went outside with my iPad under my arm.
And then i ended up spending the rest of the lesson watching Loki while sitting in some corner in the hallway…

hear me out: putting up the pride flag, especially during pride month, shouldn’t be an opinion!
If you are a hetero and it’s not your problem, than you aren’t just hetero, but also an asshole. It’s everybody’s problem, because it could be your best friends one or your siblings one and would you refuse to support your friend or sibling? No!
Not having an opinion on supporting someones right to live their lives the way they want is basically forbidding them to live their lives they way they want. So no “I accept it, but...”
And by putting up an pride flag, a very easy thing, you show “I stand with these people, that are not as privileged as I am!” You show, even if no one cares, that you want to let everybody live their lives and support every sexuality and gender and that you fight for equality. Because not everyone is as privileged as you are.
So put up those pride flags, regardless your sexuality or gender!

Okay so in Avengers: Endgame Rhodey names amongst other movies, “Hot tub time machine”. That means this film exists in the MCU Universe and is watchable for the characters. Therefore Sebastian Stan, who plays Blaine in “Hot tub time machine” exists as well in the MCU Universe. And I find it really amusing, that there exists some guy in the MCU Universe who looks exactly like Bucky and nobody talks about it
