I FINALLY FINISHED ACT 1 OF MY FIC BLAME FATE!!!!!!!!!!

57,209 words later...

I'm going to be posting it friday (june 27th) and I am leaving it up to YOU how many chapters I post then

so anyways, here's the plan:

I'm going to be posting every other friday ultil I run out of my backlog of 12 chapters and then I will be posting as I finish (HOPEFULLY that will still be every other friday, but we shall see)

Here's the description for a fic I am writing that literally came to me in a dream:

Peter Parker is a smart kid, especially considering that he was born in an age that dreams of flying cars but is yet to crack WIFI. The 1940s are not kind to Peter, but they get even more cruel when HYDRA sets their eyes on him. Long story short, Peter is captured, then he ‘escapes,’ and the vigilante Night Monkey is born. Brooklyn loves Night Monkey, even if it is a stupid name.

He lives his new life, taking names and kicking ass, for exactly one year and ninety-six days, and then he dies. Or at least he thinks he does. That is, until he wakes up in the rubbles of the HYDRA base he thought he escaped from. And then he sees a flying car.

Now he is somehow over eighty years in the future. But he only finds this out because a man in a flying metal suit that claims to be the son of Howard Stark makes a comment about his impeccable fashion taste that rivals his great grandfather’s.

He meets the merry band of misfits that claim the title of the Avengers, one of which looks suspiciously like a scrawny kid that Peter saved on many several occasions. Said past twink kid is very excited to be able to finally prove to his friend that Night Monkey is real.

Even longer story short, Peter chooses a less stupid vigilante name, adapts to the 21st century (where he learns that flying cars are sadly still just a Stark thing), and gets forcefully adopted by several of earth’s mightest heroes.

Good Omens, Hannibal, Our Flag Means Death, Sherlock, What We Do In The Shadows are just SOME of my favorite shows (pretty much in that order) but for some reason I can not get myself to write fanfic for any of those, only marvel. marvel has a gun to my head and is forcing me to write silly little fanfics. Im under contract, APPERENTLY.

Anyone else have a whole hoard of different interests and shows/books they enjoy, but will only ever read/write for one of those for absolutely no reason? Like, you love all this stuff, but only a single one screams at you from the back of your brain about fanfiction?
