Genshin Characters and their Gifts to You

Characters • Albedo, Zhongli, Venti, Diluc, Kaeya, Tartaglia, Il Dottore, La Signora × GN! Reader

I wanted to write something soft again. Enjoy these headcannons :) - Mod Crow 🪶

Albedo

• Albedo would gift you different sketches of landscape he found intriguing.

• He'll go on to say that the scenery beauty doesn't match you, although, it does flatter you but you can't help but to laugh that Albedo compared you to a field of flowers.

• Albedo isn't one to express emotions well. He shows his appreciation for you through quality time and the occasional gift. Overall, he doesn't gift you often.

Zhongli

• Zhongli will notice the items you find interest when you two walk throughout Liyue. Later on, he'll come home with said item and gift it to you.

• Zhongli likes surprising you with gifts, whether big or small you cannot predict when and what he gets you.

• Zhongli doesn't hesitate to gift you seashells or flowers. When you two are walking throughout Liyue, you'll see him pick a flower and place it in your hair.

• If you're lucky, Zhongli might just surprise you with a flower crown.

Venti

• Venti is very chaotic, and the God of Freedom. Venti will give you a pot of dirt with a straight face, telling you to water it. Sometimes, the outcome is a couple of your favorite flowers. Other times, nothing grows and you ended up watering pure dirt.

• Although, Venti will play his lyre for you in private settings. The two of you visit Windrise or Cape Oath plenty. His melodies are pleasant blowing through the spacious plains.

• Venti has and will surprise you with songs about you. Majority of the time, they're only for your ears. Although, the songs about your adventures is something for everyone's ears.

Diluc

• If you enjoy alcohol and wine, Diluc will often gift you bottles of his newest wines. You enjoy holiday wines? He's got you covered. He can spare a bottle of few.

• Nonetheless, if you do not enjoy alcoholic drinks, Diluc will make beverages for you, to your liking. As a bartender, he's very versatile outside of the wine industry.

• Diluc will often make up the time he's working with gifts. If you're talking about a piece of jewelry you found pretty, or if you found a certain bouquet of flowers pleasant he will buy it for you.

• Diluc also occasionally sends his nightingale out to give you small notes with a flower to stick in your hair. This is usually when he's working, but he still thinks about you.

Kaeya

• Kaeya's gifts is his alone time with you ;)

• In all seriousness, Kaeya will gift you a necklace as a token for your relationship. The necklace would either say something stupidly cheesy like "Kaeya's Pet" that wouldn't make you wear it public, unless you were into that.

• Kaeya isn't the type to often gift you, the two of you spend plenty of time together. Whether it be in the tavern or in his KoF office, there is not much in the day you two are apart.

• The times Kaeya does gift you, the gifts are usually corny and somehow make you giggle.

Tartaglia

• Tartaglia loves bringing you gifts from Snezhnaya if and when he visits there. Of course, 90% of the time you two go together, he always somehow goes behind your back to obtain something for you

• Good chance his siblings know about you, so they will gift you small things too, either a drawing or a fish they proudly caught whilst ice fishing

• As a Fatui Harbinger, Tartaglia could be gone for a day or two at a time. He always tries to finish his work to see you again. When he returns, he always comes back with a flower bouquet and a reservation for dinner at some fancy restaurant. He is also severely injured so you have to tend to his wounds.

Il Dottore

• Dottore doesn't care much about gifting to you, rather you gift him more. He makes up for this in other ways, quality time and his extreme care for you. Although he hates to admit the truth of having a soft spot for you.

• Although, there will be days that Dottore approaches you with a box of chocolates and a rose. Dottore may be a mad genius, but he isn't well acquainted in the ways of love, aside from what happens in the bedroom.

• After he gives you the chocolates, Dottore'll ask you for your hand, asking you for a dance. If you don't know how to dance, Dottore will teach you. The two of you slow dance under the stars, forgetting about any worries of the world.

La Signora

• Signora is a busy woman, so she frequently sends other fatui members to gift you. They're always letters with her love for you, along with a souvenir for whichever nation she's currently in. She never forgets to send you some native snacks from there, and perhaps she'll drop a recipe.

• As much as you ask her to travel with her, she always denies. There will be a day or few out of a week or two that she'll come into your arms, deflated and exhausted from her fatui work. These days you truly cherish because you don't know exactly when she'll return again.

• The day or few you spend together are slow days. The two of you don't do much, asides lounging around the house. Perhaps you cook one of the recipes Signora sent you beforehand...

This outrider’s idea of a date isn’t exactly conventional, and I’d say that’s a good thing. Amber can be a bit childish when it comes to things outside of work, her many gliding license suspensions are plain proof of that, so her dates will pretty much reflect that. Any date the two of you have will be completely on a whim, whether it be a glider race or finishing your commissions together if you run into each other in the Mondstadt wilds. However there is one thing that she would probably plan ahead for if she were to actually *ask* you out on a date. First she would take you out for a picnic in the Mondstadt gardens, having Sara from Good Hunter prepare you some Sticky Honey Roast beforehand, Amber swears this was to save time but you know full well she spent hours trying to cook some for you but ended up burning it every time. Next she’d find something to pass the time, perhaps taking you out to Brightcrown Canyon to look at the ruins scattered around the hills. She’ll spend hours telling you about the ruins, pointing out the foundation of a house where she claims the Ragnvindr Clan of old used to reside. Finally she’ll drag you out to Starsnatch Cliff to watch the stars, she’ll point out each constellation and tell you how she learned where they were, she talks about the hundreds of times she camped out in the wilds without a tent because either high winds or wild animals destroyed her tent. With every new thing she tells you her eyes light up, and you could almost get lost in their golden depths.

- Xiao

If you want to go on a date with Xiao, you’d have to be the one to ask him, and that doesn’t always mean he’ll go along with it. Lucky for you he agreed after you proposed a cooking date in the Wangshu Inn kitchen. Smiley Yanxiao was a hassle to deal with but he eventually agreed to let you two use the kitchen, however when you and Xiao arrived at the kitchen, the only aprons present were two pink kitty themed aprons, clearly a prank on Yanxiao’s part. After Xiao finally got over his embarrassment relating to the apron, you two set out to recreate Xiao’s favorite dish, Almond Tofu. Through many…. *many* bits of trial and error, the two of you manage to make something that, well, resembles the dish. Xiao took a bite of the gelatinous mass and quickly spit it out in the trash, of course neither of you are cooks. The two of you, well, *you* laughed it off, Xiao simply scoffed and stated “Cooking is such a trivial matter, why do you mortals even bother.” but there was a clear sense of amusement in his voice. In the end, you had Yanxiao make you the dish, but not without being laughed at by the man for the aprons he left you.

- Dottore

Dottore isn’t a date person, but he will allow you to accompany him in his laboratory. Try to take a peek in his books and he’ll quickly agree to take you out on the town just to keep you out of his work. He’ll take you out shopping, using his status as a harbinger to get better deals on the items you were looking at. If you decide not to get something because you think it's too expensive, he’ll push you to the side and grab it, taking it up to the counter and paying for it before you can voice your protests. He’s not vocal about his affection, in fact it’s something that’s very difficult for him, but that just means he’ll show it through gift giving and doing things for you. While the date might have been your idea, he takes charge of it very quickly, after taking you out shopping, he takes you to the fanciest restaurant he can think of, you know, one of those restaurants that have a dress code? Anyways, he’ll end the night by taking you to a tavern, which eventually leads to him taking you home and-- I’m sure you can imagine what comes next. ;)

He'll make sure to keep you close to him, holding your hand with a bit of a harsh grip or keeping his arm wrapped around your waist. Trying to make his jealous is simply a horrible idea, unless you want him to be even rougher.

Dottore:

In the event that you decide to make him jealous, it might be about time to throw away your dignity. You'll probly be dragged home and pressed against the wall as fast as humanly possible. His hands will be all over you, maybe a few fingers shoved in your mouth. He'd likely gag you aswell, not wanting to hear you speak unless its needed. After all, you wanted someone to touch you, right? Depending on how things have fared previously, he may not even prep you. You might have bruises on your hips by the end, seeing as he'd be relatively relentless in his actions. Leaving love bites in the most obvious of places, as if marking a claim. If you don't try to make him jealous, he'll just hold you way closer and keep a hand on your throat as he plows into you. You didn't try to do anything, yet he's still telling you how you're his and you always will be ♡

All the warning you got before hands were on your waist and thighs was a deep growl, then getting hoisted up onto Kaeyas lap. Waking up with the Genshin Boys x GN Reader Drabbles

(Kaeya, Venti, Zhongli, Diluc, Dottore, Xiao x GN!Reader)

Everything will be SFW!! I'm not too great at writing and I wasn't too certain on a prompt so I'm starting with something simple - Mod Crow🪶

Kaeya

He enjoys spooning you, despite his body being unnaturally cold almost all the time. Somehow he warms up when you two spoon. He gives you plenty of morning kisses on the cheeks. Although since he has work to do with the Knights, it's not uncommon for him to leave before you wake up. Whenever he does leave early, he always leaves you a small note stating his love for you, wishing you a pleasant day.

Though, on the days you two wake together, he whispers "Good Morning" to you with that oh so lovely morning voice. Kaeya holds you closely to him, his hands on your waist. You're his everything, and he doesn't want to lose his grasp on you. Kaeya often plays with your bed head. His cold hands are somehow refreshing under the warm sheets.

Venti

Venti doesn't often wake up hungover. The mornings he does, is when he's burying his face in the crook of your neck to escape the sunlight. Venti almost always wakes up clinging to you, telling you "Morning, my melody" or something stupidly cheesy. Venti always wakes up chipper, somehow. He gives you plenty of morning kisses.

You two almost always exchange conversation in the morning, such topics varying from you telling Venti to stop drinking so much to Venti telling you multiple compliments and teasing you about your bed head. He often likes burying his face in your chest. You're just a big pillow to the bard. His special big pillow. He's lost so much already, and he is clinging to what he has now. Treasuring these days and moments with you, until they're gone.

Zhongli

Waking up with Zhongli hugging was always pleasant. His tall figure wrapped around you perfectly, encasing you in a comforting warmth. Zhongli isn't a man for many words to express his emotions. He'd rather show his love for you through actions and small phrases. Zhongli's morning voice is what seals the deal. He greets you, "Good morning lovely... Did you sleep well?" He cups your face with a hand.

After you finish speaking, he gives you a gentle kiss. He wishes to stay like this with you. He wishes he could freeze time, stay together like this, forever. Zhongli knows well that things don't last forever, and everything comes to an end eventually. But, he cherishes what he has now, basking in his love for you, and your love for him. He can't help but gaze into your eyes and tell you how beautiful you are, kissing the back of your hand afterwards.

Diluc

Diluc isn't the type to outwardly express his emotions. Not until the two of you declared your love for eachother. Even then, the majority of his affection comes from the public eye. Diluc was a busy man, waking up very early. So, many mornings you wake up alone, a note on his pillow. The note was written in neat handwriting, your favorite flower attached. The note was short, yet sweet.

The days you wake with Diluc next to you are the days you truly cherish, knowing nothing can possibly go wrong. Diluc is another who's not well affiliated with words, and he'd much rather prefer actions. Diluc holds your hand in bed, alot. He often falls asleep holding your hand as well. The abrasive on his hands had a comforting feel to them. His awfully cold gaze was gone during these moments, replaced by a soft one.You and Diluc often lay in comfortable silence, the both of you clingy to each other. You both share the dread of getting up for the day, having to part from each other.

Dottore

Dottore wasn't the type to be physically affectionate, so hugging around you while he slept was a rare occurrence. He did occasionally hold your hand while you two slept, making you feel like you first fell in love with the psychotic scientist. Dottore grumbles when he first wakes up, giving you a small aggressive sigh. "Morning…" He gives you a kiss on the forehead. Dottore and you don't often speak, but when you two do, it's often about his compliments to you. Rare moments he expresses his praise for you, enjoying seeing you so flustered.

Many days, you do wake without Dottore. But, he is almost always found in his lab, completing experiments to his horrific desires. You often greet him from behind with a hug, in which he scolds you for sneaking up behind him. But you can't help but tease him for this. You knew Dottore didn't want you to get hurt from an experiment of his, he'd greatly worry. He fails to admit his soft spot for you, however.

Xiao

The rare occurrences you and Xiao wake up together are moments you cherish. The short adeptus was still learning human affection, so it took him a while to get used to spooning and cuddling. He isn't well versed in using words. As Xiao progresses into your relationship, he often hugs you in his sleep, as a way of protecting you. Despite the majority of the time you two are asleep at the Wangshu Inn, he feels the need to hold you closely, holding you by the waist, his face buried in the crook of your neck.

Xiao loves to pepper kisses along your face and neck, his hands cupping yours. "Good morning lovely…" Xiao unfortunately doesn't use pet names often, but when he does, they are rather old fashioned. He brushes the hair from your face with a hand, his golden eyes having a loving undertone. The adeptus gives you a smile, pressing his forehead to yours, a hand on the back of your head. He longs that this lasts forever, and so do you.

If it were ever a plan for him, it would take him weeks to carry out because he isn’t the kind of person to outwardly show intense emotions such as “sexual desire and all that nonsense” as he would put it. However, Xiao has a libido just like almost everyone else, which means if he wants something from you, he will get it. Xiao will seemingly become more touchy, in the sense that he will put his hand on your waist and initiate hand holding more often (give him some time to get used to most things, despite being 2000+ years old he doesn’t have a lot of experience in this department.) Once he decides to get more bold he will start drawing you in for more kisses, deeper ones, kisses that are almost primal as his body seems to envelop you whole as he pushes you against the wall. He’ll put his knee in between your legs as he trails sloppy kisses down your neck and to your collar bones, leaving a mess of bite marks and hickies in his wake. His hands will get adventurous. Down to your hips, fingertips ghosting your thighs, and back up as they find their way into your shirt. Slowly throughout the day he will remove pieces of his clothing and accessories, starting off small with his braid and ponytail, moving on to his jacket and his boots. You don’t really notice until he takes his jacket off in front of you. You watch it slide off his shoulders as he watches you from the corner of his eye. He’ll smirk and turn to look at you, “Like what you see?” He’ll say in his usual smooth voice as he walks calmly toward you. Whether you move backwards or you stay put, he’ll be up in your face with teasing eyes and fingers under your chin. He’ll place a featherlight kiss on your lips as his other hand finds its way down to the curve of your ass, squeezing ever so lightly. He’ll chuckle at the small gasp you give him, “Care to be my little test subject for a bit?”

Diluc really isn't that jealous of a person, seeing as he's usually so wrapped up in his own buisiness that he doesn't notice others around you. But sometimes he will make time for you and you'll spend a bit too long talking to someone else and it will sadden him a little bit. He usually internalizes it, assuming he's irrational, but it's simply buried in him. If you intentionally try to make him jealous, he'll notice, and take action from there.

Kaeya:

Wether or not Kaeya is jealous depends on how your relationship is with you. If youre not dating, and merely romantically involved, he isn't jealous. Well, at least not that much. He will loom a bit for you to notice him instead of whoever you're speaking too, but thats about it. If you're in a relationship with him? Well, thats a different story. He's borderline possessive at that point, almost always keeping his arm around your waist. He'll take the way you look at someone into account aswell. If you actually try to make him jealous? Well, you're in for quite a ride.

Xiao:

He's pretty jealous, although it would take a LOT to get him to admit it. You took so much time to get close to him, and yet you converse with that other person so freely and just about ignore him?
