Gwen Stacy headcanons:

- Gwen absolutely adores sunsets. She could spend hours just admiring them, bathing in the last rays of sunlight and enjoying the weak heat of the winter sun.

- Even if she's a bit punk, her favourite colours are pastel blue and pink. She has thousands of sweaters and many of them have "soft" colours.

- She loves rock, yes, but she also founds R&B strangely soothing. She listens to it all the time, especially when she needs to focus or calm her anxiety.

- She's VERY socially awkward, as she has never had many friends. However, she does love her friends and spending quality time with them.

- I don't know why but I see her being a big fan of baking. Don't get me wrong, she's a mess but I believe baking suits her really well.

- She loves infusions, let it be coffee or tea.

- When she was a kid she used to listen to Avril Lavigne all the time. She still does whenever she feels nostalgic.

- She goes to pride with her dad. No, I will not elaborate.

- Hobie and her are like siblings. Pavitr and her are best friends. Yes, they are different dynamics.

- She actually used to get along really well with Miguel, so it broke her heart when he kicked her out of the Spider-Society.

Miles Morales headcanons

- He actually studies a lot whenever he has the time. He especially likes to go to the library or to a coffee shop and study for hours.

- Miles loves to explore the city, let it be by swinging or walking. He likes to discover new places and try different things.

- Sometimes, when he's not feeling tired or doesn't have a very hard day ahead, he tends to wake up early just to see the sunrise.

- He has a talent for both art and physics, so he usually mixes both in order to catch the concepts faster. He draws little doodles and schemes in every notebook and adds sketches to his notes.

- That man is LOYAL. Miles is the kind of guy that will help you to cover up a murder. He sticks with his friends until the end of the line.

- He likes to use art as free therapy. Let it be writing, singing and especially drawing, Miles uses art to deal with his feelings and calm down. He especially likes to spend hours inmersed in his graffities, going from place to the other focused on the shades and lines, choosing the best color or fixing the right pattern.

Every Sunday I wake up feeling hopeful about a new last of us episode. I feel my heart pounding against my chest as I think about Joel, Ellie, a cup of coffee and chilling in my couch. I spend the whole week thinking about it, even if the thought just creeps into my mind when I'm distracted. Then finally, Saturday arrives and I cannot wait to lay on my couch with a blanket and see my favourite show again. I hit play.

Fast forward. The credits are rolling and I have tears in my eyes and all over my shirt. My heart has been broken again by this extremely beautiful yet painful story and I swear to myself that I will never watch another episode of this horrible, gut-wrenching show. Sunday starts and I prepare to repeat the same damn cycle again with no regrets because I'm a fucking clown.

I'm used to queerbaiting, to feeling hopeful about one couple, pouring my heart into them to then be inevitably (and predictably) disappointed.

I'm also used to seeing the signs, the subtle flirting and the pining, knowing that it will never happen. It has happened too many times for me to count, with Steddie, Ronance, Sambucky, Lokius, Johnlock and the list goes on and on.

However, I know how to deal with that. I know how to avoid getting my hopes up and how to not be dependent of one ship. I've never thought that Stranger Things will do something even worse than queerbaiting. Besides actively pursuing the "bury your gays" trope (both mentally and physically), it manipulated the audience plainly and viciously to then end up using one of its few queer characters as a device for a straight ship.

I have absolutely nothing against mileven, I even believe that they're in fact wholesome, but Will, poor, traumatized Will, was used by both Mike and the Duffers as a simple plot device to provide the fandom with the same repetitive, straight couple. That does no justice to his character. He's been cast aside, ignored, bullied and tortured so his crush and his sister can achieve the perfect couple status. All his development from season 1 has either been his use as a Mindflayer GPS or the sad gay character. He's been through so, so much and there's never a win for him. Not good friends, not a good S/O and not even a little break. It's unfair. It's lazy writing. It's deceiving an audience and then breaking their heart. So no, excuse me if I don't forgive the Duffers for treating their queer characters as marketing and angst sources.

Even if Remus refused at first, Sirius and him have a matching earring that they never take off

James became obsessed with muggle stuff after listening to ABBA for the first time

He secretly loves to sing "Dancing Queen" in the shower

Peter is one of those persons that seems super calm and kind but actually they're sarcastic af

Peter and Remus have a very wholesome friendship and they hangout a lot

James seems dumb and irresponsible but he's one of the smartest students of his year and often achieves to get everyone shocked with his talent

James and Peter were so done with the Wolfstar pining that they locked them together in a cupboard to make them talk

Lily was the first to discover Remus's crush

Marlene and Dorcas are Hogwarts's power couple

Regulus always tries to help younger students when the other Slytherins don't see him

Mary and Marlene have the best fashion sense in Hogwarts and Sirius asks them for fashion advice

Marlene has a vintage, 60's /20's aesthetic and Dorcas has a darker, hippier aesthetic

Mary was the first to realize that Lily was in love with James

Regulus and Sirius often smoke together in the roof. They don't talk but they enjoy each other's company

Books recommendations for 2022 (by aesthetic):

Dark Academia: Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson

This book is basically the story of a girl called Stevie who is trying to solve a famous murder and kidnapping that took place in a famous boarding school. It's a really good story with shocking plot twists and very interesting characters. 5/5⭐

Spacecore: The Martian by Andy Weir

If you want an amazing story full of science and action, this is your book. "The Martian" tells the story of an astronaut called Mark Watney that, for many reasons, ends up stucked in Mars completely alone and with very low chances of survival. This was one of my favourite books of the year btw, and I really enjoyed it. 10/5⭐

Monstercore (yes, I know it doesn't exist but idgaf): Sweet Home by Kim Carnby and Hwang Young-chan

This was probably one of my favourite manwhas ever. The story, the characters, the ambience... everything is amazing and the illustrations are incredible. We follow the story of Hyun Cha, a young hikikomori that is forced to move to the "Green House apartments" after the death of his family. This is has such an unexpected and unique plot that is impossible to put the book down. 1000/5⭐

Cottage core: Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery

This is such a refreshing and heart-warming book. We read the story of a young girl called Anne from her childhood to her marriage. I really loved how cute but realistic the story was and it has huge amounts of fluff and angst. 4.5/5⭐

Cyberpunk??: Alice in Borderland by Haro Aso

This is one of those unique stories that may change your life. Arisu Ryouhei, a chaotic and irresponsible student, finds himself trapped in a world where he has to play strange games in order to survive. Great plot with many hidden messages and also amazing character development. 7/5⭐

Mystery: And then there were none by Agatha Christie

Honestly, who doesn't know this book? Everything about this story is disturbing but exciting at the same time. Basically ten strangers recieve a weird invitation to spend the weekend at the Soldier Island, but everything turns out to be way more sinister than it seemed at the beginning. 100/5⭐

Headcanons for the dead poets in Christmas :)

Charlie would be hyped af. He would be the kind of person that puts all the Christmas decorations in September and buy all kind of stupid stuff

Neil would buy tons of notebooks and special books for his soulmate Todd :,)

Todd would simply pass away out of love and then, when he wakes up, he would shyly give his present to Neil, which is a beautiful collection of famous plays.

Neil would propose right there

Meeks would receive the kind of stuff that a nerd likes

Pitts and Meeks would organize a Secret Santa, which would turn out kind of...chaotic but really fun.

I think Todd is the kind of guy who buys or makes little presents for everyone and hides then so no one knows he did it. But ofc all the poets realise

Charlie would get punished for dressing as Santa Claus and crawl down the fireplace

Knox would bake lots of cakes and cookies with Todd

Ofc they would all have a huge dinner/picnic in the cave with the girls

Finally in New Year's Eve all the couples (and especially Anderperry) would kiss and wish for a lovely New Year
