So yeah gonna elaborate more on these guys dynamic. It’s a mutual “I hate your guts drop dead” to friends to queer platonic partners. Ryn at all points in the story is the far more responsible one and hates that role but refuses to not fulfill it. Acirum has an asshole attitude and enough mental disorders to fill the DSM-V. He often deflects and acts out in order to keep people away because oh boy does he have a reason that’s he’s as mentally fucked as he is. But that’s for a later post about the other character involved in that. I’ve got two more finished character refs but I’ll post them later cuz I don’t wanna dump em all at once

Do not think for a moment that this admin is only going after trans folks. They are ultimately going after the whole LGBTQ community. They start small, like getting rid of a hotline option, then go BIG.

More art of my boy, gonna make a post soon about his and Ryn’s dynamic and also gonna design one of the antagonists+side characters in a bit, only really able to work on this during the morning and nights atm because I’m vacationing in Japan and my service is super spotty and I’m not lugging my iPad around everywhere but yeah!

Other character I’ve made for my Hollow Knight AU (?) thing. His name is Ryn and he is the seers grandson and he is determined to destroy the infection if it’s the last thing he does. Unfortunately the best option for succeeding is reliant on an unreliable jerk who also happens to be infected as well. (I’ll link the post here that explains that guy). But he persists. Reluctantly, maybe Hallownest being destroyed isn’t that bad compared to that asshole…

So idk what point chronologically this happens but whatever. This guy is a vessel (obviously) and is not hollow (hence the he/him pronouns) and as you can probably see, he is infected. Despite this, he caught it early on and is still in control so he goes on an adventure to find a way to destroy the source of the infection (not saying too many specifics cuz a friend of mine who doesn’t know all the lore follows me) and along the way, he figures out how to harness the power of the infection in order to aid him along the way (nevermind the awful side effects) He also (unwillingly) gets the help of another bug named Ryn, a moth who has relations to the seer and fears that this infected loser might be their last hope. Still need to make his bug design but I’m currently in Japan so way too busy. There’s some other characters and lore I still need to develop but this is where I’m at! Oh yeah and this guys name is Acirum but hell if he’s telling YOU that
