Pictured above: an illustration of a soldier and a priest of the Light flight, wearing typical garb.

The soldier is a young but promising cadet, shown here with an impressive amount of battle plates for her age. Battle plates, often referred to simply as "plates", are plates of metal forged with a single symbol, each given to represent a certain act of valor in combat. As an individual rises through the ranks, their number of plates increases, visually signaling their place in the hierarchy. Many high-ranking individuals become so burdened with these plates that they cannot take flight, though dragons with such a high number of plates generally stay behind the front lines as strategists.

The priest is shown wearing a typical plain white robe, ornamented with gold jewelry. Among Light dragons and priests in particular, gold is considered sacred, as its yellow color and distinctive shine in the sunlight is said to glorify the Lightweaver, and priests are often gifted gold jewelry forged by nearby clans for their service. Light priests also ornament themselves with parchment inscribed with sentences and phrases favored by the individual priest, often taken from holy texts. Though this priest has chosen short phrases, some wear parchments with longer sentences or even entire passages written on them. Wearing these parchments is believed to spread knowledge and thus honor the Lightweaver, who values knowledge above all else.

This week is MomoCon, and I will be waiting in line to get this special Toshi signed by Chris Sabat, his English VA!!! All Might is my favorite anime character so I wanted to make a special peice for him (i plan on giving Chris a copy as well!) IM SO EXCITED!!!!!

I've never drawn Toshi in his current state and i am forever grateful for his story and journey, so it only felt right to draw him happy and thriving :)

Given the insane amount of resources AFO had, it was stupid of Nana to think that the former would never find her son!

So, like... we know dam well the orphanage director is going to kill this kid right? Like there's no other way around it. In her trailer it was stated that he was dead and Cyan believed it was her fault. So, my guess is that he died in the scuffle whilst trying to help Cyan escape.

Now, I don't think the director outright wanted to kill him, but I do believe it's possible that either his bad luck finally got him in the end. Or Cyan's good luck activated at the wrong time protecting her but hurting him in the process, likely from an attack deflecting or something along the lines. Either way, I'm curious to see how the director will react to being the cause for a child under his care's death.

Would he care? Or would he deflect saying it was the kids own fault due to his bad luck and trying to 'steal' Cyan away from him. I'm leaning towards the latter as he's already off the deep end, to the point that he views Cyan as his property rather than someone he was supposed to care for. But it'll be interesting to see playout non the less.

I understand now why in the marketing that Cyan and Queen were always pared together. Aside from sharing similar father figures that shape their lives, I also suspect that they had a somewhat similar upbringings.

I believe that it's very likely both Cyan and Queens' father figures pushed them to fulfill their expectations to become hero's and or make a difference in the world. Most likely due to their own unfulfilled dreams, and each girl had a different response to it, where Cyan tried to rebel, Queen fell in line to an almost startling degree.

Though another thing to note, is that unlike Cyan. Queen is almost always depicted as alone or isolated, suggesting she didn't have a lot of outside influence to help her question her path. And when some did come along as with the case with Firm Man in her trailer, she pushed them away ferociously.

Though unlike the orphanage director it would seem like the man who raised Queen realized what he was doing to her and tried to push back on it. Though very weakly merely chiding her for taking over the graduation ceremony.

Though again this is just speculations for now but I do believe it was worth drawing attention to the parallels.
