Not only are they great for pilates exercises and injury rehabilitation, but even sitting on one instead of using a chair will help build your core muscles which are used due to the unstable nature of the ball. Stabilising muscles are used when doing exercises such as crunches and push ups with feet raised in an elevated position. We can’t sell you love. (We wish we could 🤑) But as a brand and a business we have a responsibility to make the world a better place. Do what you love, with those you love. It doesn’t always have to be about training. It doesn’t always have to be with a significant other. It could be with friends, it could be with family... But maybe you’re feeling alone? That’s ok. NEW YEAR NEW ME? Why wait? Seriously ask yourself - why are you waiting? What for? Too many of us like to “start” on a certain date. “It’s Christmas, let’s enjoy this first and then start in January”. Your body doesn’t know it’s Christmas. The planet keeps spinning regardless of what day it is. Of course you should enjoy yourself. But life is about balance. If you’re going to drink, drink in moderation. If you’re going to eat chocolate, don’t eat the whole box. Keep training. Keep it up! Even if you do 10 squats and 10 push ups, then go for a 20 minute fast walk. If you cannot manage your 10,000 steps, do 5,000. But do something. The key is consistency. Motivation comes and goes. You have to be the person who works out when you don’t feel motivated, you have to be the person who says no to the (4th!) glass of wine. With every spin of the globe, we age another day. We can’t see inside our bodies to know the damage we are doing to it when we neglect to take care of it. Again, balance is key. Don’t wait until January. Go outside and have a long walk at a fast pace. You’ll feel much better for it afterwards.
