The Sealing of Sukuna

My headcanon about Sukuna being sealed is that he was fully conscious during the whole thousand years of it. Because, think about it, him being in a state of suspended animation would be a very merciful thing to do, same thing if he could see what was going on outside through his fingers, yes? But in the Jujutsu Kaisen world, it's negative energy that grants power and horror that prevails. And not only was Sukuna's energy so great that no one can replicate the seals today, but it has been said to grow even stronger.

So I think Sukuna was awake all that time.

Unable to see, hear, touch or in any way interact with the outside world.

Unable to move.

Trapped with only his own thoughts for company in complete sensory deprivation until he went mad, and his despair only fueled the seal that bound him. That would explain why he had forgotten the feeling of light on his skin. Why he was so giddy and acting so unhinged when he awoke. Being bound into Yuuji would have allowed him to re-accomodate to the living world slowly, as he would be able to interact with Yuuji's senses for short periods (and indeed, we never saw him manifest for long in the beginning, and Yuuji himself said he was mostly not paying attention). If he had completely taken over a body right after awakening, I wonder if he would have been overwhelmed after a while?

I also HC that a thousand years to contemplate your own existence would have turned him into quite the philosopher, and heightened his understanding of the theory of jujutsu to an obscene degree, which would also explain why he was able to turn himself back into a finger to possess Fushiguro, and later master the entirety of his technique (all 10 Shadows + the Agito) and incorporate it into his own.

Sealing him only made him more powerful, and more insane.

I've gone through a Supernatural binge reading lately, and I read a lot of TrueForm!Cas fics on AO3 so of course I had to sketch a quick something… which ended up becoming 2 hours of drawing and another of enochian research… when I should have been doing homework. I really should know better by now… Anyways! Enjoy my version of our favorite guardian angel. He has a honeybee head (duh…) and the other is a kingfisher. I'll color everything later, just really wanted to post this while I was motivated. There are some storm-clouds, drums and a tuba (because he has a rumbling voice and I was not about to draw a cello or a bass) and eyes where there really shouldn't be and wayyy too many arms. Which I had a lot of fun drawing because who cares if they're not proportional! It's supposed to be eerie! Halo and ring-wise, I kinda imagine that they're as much collars as weapons, to force them to be obedient (which would also explain why angels have so much trouble with free will in Spn). And the fire is because Seraphim (which is the angel class Cas canonly belongs to) literally translates to "burning ones" so I took it and ran away with it.

Ao3 is down. Given the amount of time I usually spend on it , I should probably be crying in despair like an addict denied their favourite high, but noooo. I’d much rather console myself on Tumblr while wishing pain, karma and retribution on the lemming-brained idiots that had the bright idea to do this. Don’t they realise they just made over 5 million people worldwide hate them? Was that the goal? Why? Like, I loved that song. I would listen to it on loop if I could. But the italian version literally made me cry, it’s like creative juices x1000 in a 2:40 soundtrack AND I DON’T EVEN SPEAK ITALIAN I had to look up the lyrics on Google translate. Like, I liked Sweden, Finland and Croatia too but in the end I know which song I got stuck into my head for 48 hours straight.

Took a bit of world-building to be honest. I mean, he’s an alien, so some things have to be not quite right, but in a purposeful way I guess? I also added the little pentagons everywhere (because why not) and I kinda hc that the suit retracts into the belt-buckle -and the boots into the shin-guards apparently. Oh, and curls. It makes no sense to me for him to have only one, perfectly-shaped curls, and not a few more.

All in all, I’m rather proud of myself here... Even if I still can’t draw a S.

Superbat soulmate AU hc

Imagine a soulmate AU where humans get the (first words, name, anything really) of their soulmate on your wrist when they're born. Bruce Wayne is bare-wristed, angsty about it but keeps it secret because deep down he thinks he's unloveable -he's really not. Clark Kent, also bare-wristed, keeps his lack of a mark a secret because it's kind of a big sign that he's not really human. Story goes as history goes, Superman and Batman meet, have a lot of adventures together, become besties, then lovers, and eventually share their soulmark problem so they can commiserate together. And then one day out of the blue, someone (alien, Green Lantern, Fortress AI, whatever) casually drops that Kryptonian soulmarks are actally chest markings that fluoresce, but only through red sun exposure, then activation under UV light. Cue a slack-jawed, bare-chested, misty-eyed Clark staring in the mirror at the glowing bat in a pentagon between his pecs after a few hours under a red lamp.

And then cue Batman ripping off his cowl and chest armor, fumbling the catches in his haste, getting under the red-sun-lamp-slash-blacklight setup he installed in the Cave for Clark... and yep, that's the crest of El right there.

Who killed the elven baby?

Ok guys I know what you’re thinking, yes, Emhyr var Emreis killed the elven baby, it was confirmed in the last episode of season 2 in the Netflix show. But. (and keep in mind I haven’t read the books so I might be wrong here but who knows? Netflix seems to be making up a whole new Witcher universe as it goes).

But, as I said, the emperor of Nilfgaard was certainly not the one wielding the knife to commit the (horrible) act. So who was?

Hmm, let me think. It would have to be someone with a very specific skillset, stealthy enough to get through an entire castle filled to the brim by soldiers, get in the nursery and kill the baby without Francesca (aka very powerful elven sorceress, let’s not forget that) noticing, and getting out without getting caught. Not to mention it would have to be someone willing to actually kill an infant in cold blood (which I’d like to think is not something most thieves/burglars with the previous set of skills would do but then again, Witcher universe is kinda messed up in that regard). Bit of magic could have eased the way.

Aaand anyone who’s played the games knows Emhyr has canonically had a predilection for hiring a certain group of people for high-profile targets. *cough cough* Witcher 2, anyone?
