UNABLE TO FLY A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared as he sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. ANIMALS KINGDOM Long-time ago in the #Animal Kingdom, a sheep was passing and saw a lion crying inside a cage trapped and the lion begged the sheep to save him with a promise not to kill and eat it but the #sheep refused. After much persuasion and for the sheep's gullibility it opened the #cage for the lion. Now the lion was very hungry having stayed in the cage for days without food. It quickly grabbed the sheep to #kill and eat but the sheep reminded him of his promise. They were still there arguing when other animals came passing and they sought to know what happened. RAINING Last week I stood at the bus stop waiting for a #vehicle to convey me to #work. It was #raining and there was no bus. I considered taking a #motorbike but I also realized that wind would make it difficult for me to use an #umbrella on top of a motorbike; so, since I didn't want to get drenched I opted to wait for a #bus. Forty minutes later, there was still no bus. People formed clusters according to their various bus stops. And as time passed the crowd grew in number. Suddenly I looked to my right and saw a private vehicle parked about twenty metres away loading passengers. Out of desperation I left my bus stop and walked towards it. On getting there I discovered that it wasn't going my route. As I turned back to return to where I stood, I saw a bus parked there with people struggling to board. That bus parked where I stood about a minute earlier. It arrived the minute I left that place! And it was going my route! Regrets rolled in. What kind of tough luck is this? LITTLE DAN STORY Six-year-old Dan decided one Saturday morning to fix his parents #pancakes. He found a big bowl and spoon, pulled a chair to the counter, opened the cupboard and pulled out the heavy flour canister, spilling it on the floor. THE LAZY DONKEY There was a salt merchant who had a donkey for carrying his goods to the market. The salt #merchant cared so much for the donkey, but the donkey was very #lazy and didn’t want to #work. Meanwhile, there is a stream along the road to the #market. One day, as they were crossing the #stream, the donkey accidentally slipped and fell with the bags of salt it was carrying.
