Late I know, but it's pride month and also Sonic birthday month so have this thing I drew back in March that is partly based on a joke I sometimes make and partly reference to all that religious sonic fanart (just be thankful he's not buff and in a mankini, I have seen some things)

Boom, they're old now. Admittedly didn't change them a whole lot, just needed something to reference for when/if I draw them interacting with their kids as they grow up.

I got nothing new finished so have this pillowtalk drawing that will make no sense because it's supposed to take place after a super trashy fic I wrote on my notes app on my phone (which itself was a written based on a drawing I made last year that I have not posted here and will probably not bc it kinda sucks).

had a vivid memory of something really silly and dumb from childhood and ended up drawing (mostly) hadrosaurs

So... When I was pretty young I, for whatever reason, just decided I hated Maiasaura (and was not a huge fan of hadrosaurs in general despite having this para beanie baby that I really liked). I could not tell you why. I was merciless and drew tons of hate art, mostly involving T. Rex dunking on these guys or them just getting into really unfortunate situations. I think there was a car accident drawing once. The drawings were never colored in but I specifically remember imagining these guys as those exact shades of green and orange. My late uncle used to joke that I secretly liked them and that's why I drew them a bunch. Maybe, but I think I was just a very petty child when it came to anything that wasn't T. Rex or Velociraptor.

Fast forward to now and I can draw them... fairly decently??? I still find Spinosaurid snouts more satisfying to draw. Younger me would probably be incensed that I can't draw T. Rex better instead.

Jude that I drew a while ago since I don't draw him very often. He's very odd and nonsensical in a way that doesn't really fit into canon MH. His brief story takes place in a setting where the monsters are more personified, but still. He is extremely melodramatic, which is fitting for a character whose backstory I wrote in 2017.

Like, this guy went most of his young life nameless and constantly heckled, met dragon god*, and named himself Judas of all things when put on the spot and asked for a name. In a world where that'd make no sense. Then there's the incident that caused him to stop molting, which in a way ties his tale to that of another Gore character of mine that he never actually meets, but that particular character is also... well, something.

*(hence the Old Fatalis; Jude is foremost my monstersona as that's my favorite so the Fatalis is technically to be my partner's but they also work independently as their own characters)

um so I realized I made a coloring error on the original image, I'd forgotten the cream color on his underbelly, it's fixed now.
