Soft Story - Pasangan Hidup 💑
Tumblr media
Cita-cita Saya jika berkeluarga tidaklah rumit.
Saya tipe wanita yang Simple dalam segala hal, It’s Me.
“Cinta sejati hanya datang Satu kali, jaga dan sayangilah.”

The Maritime (Bahari) Museum
The Maritime Museum (Indonesian: Museum Bahari) is the only one Maritime Museum in Indonesia. The Maritime Museum is Located at Jl. Pasar Ikan 1, Sunda Kelapa, Jakarta 14440, Indonesia. The museum is located in Jakarta Old Town (Kota Tua), the historic center of Jakarta. The museum was inaugurated inside the former Dutch East India Company (VOC) warehouses. The museum focuses on the maritime history of Indonesia and the importance of the sea to the economy of present-day Indonesia.
Tumblr media
It was built in former Dutch East India Company warehouse.  The warehouses were built beside the mouth of Ciliwung River, the main river of Jakarta. The warehouses is divided into two parts: the Westzijdsche Pakhuizen or "warehouses of the west bank" (constructed from 1652–1771) and the Oostzijdsche Pakhuizen or "warehouses of the east bank". The west warehouse consists of four building units, three of them are now used for the museum.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Some of the warehouses were rebuilt at the end of the 17th century in order to create more space between the city wall and the warehouses. Between the warehouses and the city wall in front of the museum, the Company kept supplies of copper and tin. The remaining city wall in front of the Maritime Museum onwards to the bastion Zeeburg and a bit further west is all that is left of the wall that once surrounding Batavia during the 17th and 18th centuries. The watch tower acted as a signal box and observation post since 1839 over the roads of Batavia. Before 1839 the signals with the ships were exchanged from the flagpole at the old VOC-shipyard situated straight behind the watchtower. The tower lost part of its function after 1886 when the new harbor of Tanjung Priok was opened.
During the Japanese occupation, the warehouses were used as a logistic storage for the Japanese army. After Indonesian independence, it was used as a warehouse for PLN and PTT. In 1976, the building was declared a cultural property. The building was inaugurated as a museum displaying the maritime history of Indonesia on July 7, 1977

Pieter Erberveld
I would like to told You a little Story about The Dutchman Who is Pro-Indonesia when The Dutch Colonization, The Dutchman is Pieter Eberveld.
The Name Of Pieter Erberveld remind us of Kampung Pecah Kulit (The Broken Skin Village) in Pangeran Jayakarta Street  because of the means of his death (drawing and quartering) or more likely from the local area's nickname, derived from the presence of a tannery in the area.
Tumblr media
Pieter Erberveld, Jr was born on 1660 in Caylon and Died on April 14th, 1722 in Batavia. He is often described as half-Javanese, or half-Dutch. Pieter Erberveld was the son of Pieter Erberveld, Sir (German) and Elizabeth Cornelis (Siam). Pieter Eberveld, Jr Had Two Sisters named Sara and Catharina. He was married with Margaretha Van Der Storm (His Cousin Sister), and They had two Daughters named Aletta and Sarina (Adopted).
Erberveld was among the more wealthy residents of Batavia, although he was not a VOC employee. Before Married, He lived in Jakarta Street near The Church Of Portuguese Grave. After Married, They were lived with Two Sisters and Two Brothers who are The Heirs of Mrs. Landerost Vincent Van Moock.
In the early 18th century, he had a dispute with the VOC authorities about his inheritance, which may have played a role in later events. In 1721, he was accused of plotting a rebellion with thousands of Javanese, with the goal of establishing an Islamic state, but was arrested at his residence with a small number of people, tortured, and executed. The monument erected where his house had stood.
The monument which was erected on the site of his residence featured a concrete or plaster skull on a spike (which was rumored to be real), and carried a plaque stating that no one should ever build or plant on this site again. This monument remained in its original location on the Jacatraweg until the Japanese demolished it in early 1942, as one of their efforts to rid Indonesia of the Dutch and the colonial atmosphere, but even Japanese visitors had been regularly taken to visit the monument in prewar years. After the war, the monument was rebuilt, before being moved again to the Taman Prasasti Museum in Tanah Abang.
