Risposta alla lettera d'amore

“Caro Ivan,
Vorrei dire a tutti che non c’é niente di bello nell’essere Sofia e questo perché ho smesso di poterti accarezzare.
Ho lasciato ad un’altra donna la possibilità di svegliarsi accanto a te, di prepararti la colazione, di baciarti in una di quelle giornate grigie che sembrano non finire mai. Mi fa ancora male pensare che tu corra da lei dopo lavoro, che la stringa con forza prima di aprire la porta per non perdere nemmeno mezzo secondo insieme e se ti vedo, se ti incontro nei soliti posti, mi si gela il cuore, penso subito a come devo comportarmi, a quanto devo restare composta e fingere che non mi importi nulla. Vorrei dirti che sono felice, che quando mi parlano della tua nuova storia sorrido, ma non posso, questa é l’avventura che non ci siamo concessi per paura, ed io ho maledetto il nostro mancato coraggio ogni giorno, ho pensato a tutte le lotte che potevamo evitare, a tutti i capricci mai risparmiati, a quella gelosia che toglieva il respiro, e a quella fiamma che non smetteva mai di bruciare dentro di noi. Ricordo ancora le urla e i messaggi con scritto “non cercarmi più” almeno mille volte, sperando di non esser mai presi alla lettera, eravamo così terrorizzati dall’idea di perderci che abbiamo fatto in modo accadesse. In tutto questo tempo non sono riuscita a sostituirti, quando altre braccia mi stringevano pensavo soltanto che non erano le tue e a quanto spesso ho dovuto allontanarti mentre tu adesso hai un’altra persona d’amare, userai anche con lei il sapone all’arancia, un giorno finirà e dimenticherai anche quello, ma ogni volta che ci vedremo, ovunque saremo e chiunque avremo al nostro fianco, sentirò ancora il cuore uscire dal petto e poi fare le corse per rientrare
