We broke up in a poorly lit, all - night laundromat. He hadn't brought enough quarters, and the change machine was out of order. I bought the detergent that he swore cause him to break out on his back. He sat on the plastic yellow seat that was bolted to four others just like it. I stood in front of someone else's dryer and openly watch their private life tumble.
