I tried to focus on the shading for this one and give it the impression of a scene at night under a full moon. Idk that the scene looks like it's at night but I am pretty happy with the way the shading turned out.

One of my looming fears as the release draws nearer is that as someone in a similar situation to Kris Deltarune, the next few chapters will only serve to remind me of the mystical floating heart puppeteering my every action and forcing me to lead my friends in some spectator's twisted story for their own amusement, and I'll just not be able to stomach that so I'll have to stop playing and sit out the ensuing fan discussion.

As much as people talk about dissolving traditional perception/binary definition of gender you really don't hear the same claims about dissolving the traditional view of sexuality, even though the two are honestly pretty inseparable

Update: Well this is embarrassing- apparently *all* Magmad variants have the team attack

M&L: Brothership. I have a fair number of complaints about it. Most of them technical and gameplay-related, it's honestly a super charming story and decently compelling cast of characters other than that.

You want to know what about it annoys me even worse than that, though?

The way the game introduces Glohm-infected enemies.

Up until that point you're hyped up about the evil energy that fills people up with such a bitterness that they shun the world and everyone in it. By the time you reach Heatfreeze you've met a lot of these people- the Glohm has severed friendships, you see someone wishing they had their companion back while the friend across the bridge rants about never wanting to see another person ever again- and then finally one of the regular enemies, the Magmad, is infected. You see how it's powered up, its stats are buffed, and it has attacks that regular Magmads don't have access to.

Namely, a team attack. That's right- the dark energy that severs bonds and makes every man a cynical, brooding island *grants them access to the ability to work together, which they did not have before*.
