hiiii im so glad to hear that ! i did some research for you, and all of them actually reduce the risk of diabetes :))
except ! for the niacin. i do not recommend your friend taking niacin because it does have an effect on how the body processes insulin, and clinical studies have shown that people with diabetes react negatively to niacin.

i did it! i finally made decent low calorie brownies after trying Too Many To Think About bad recipes. next time i might add sugar free salted caramel syrup

whole thing is 292kcal, 15g fibre, 33g protein
per brownie ~48kcal, 2.5g f, 5.5g p

60ml/2 egg whites (32)
150g 0% fage (79)
50g cocoa (181) - i used tesco finest
70g erythritol
1tsp vanilla bean paste
1/2 teaspoon coffee powder (enhances chocolate)
mix it all together, put it a small dish and bake at 180°c for ~25 min (or until a toothpick comes out clean)

half is 146kcal + 16.6g protein, so comparable to a protein bar! I suggest you serve with a little squirty cream & raspberries :)

has anyone else tried to give themselves food poisoning ??
i've always heard people say that they lost an insane amount of weight because of food poisoning. i guess i have an immune system of fucking steel because i have actively been eating the most disgusting rotten or raw shit, and im fine.
waiting for some milk to sour currently and see how that goes.

rahhh disapeared for a bit there.
i finally got to a place of feeling neutral about my body, maybe even good - and then of course a man fucked me over. so i am back :'). im definitely aware that this is just a horrible coping mechanism that i just can't seem to shake, but oh well.
i had crazy cravings because the guy i was dating literally relapsed on CRYSTAL METH in my flat (im in recovery, 2 years clean. yes he knew.) and it obviously fucked me up. i stayed clean though, which im really proud of. so i feel like im allowed to have a bit of an ED as a reward LMAO.
im gonna try and focus more on calories in/calories out because i find it a lot simpler than just not eating because i seem to binge a lot more. also if i do eat, something that i cook myself because takeout gives me SUCH a puffy face and thats my biggest insecurity.
i dont have a scale but i think im about 65kg ??? (177cm). YUCK. i want to be at the very least 60kg, preferably 57kg.

supplements that work for me!
these are just the ones that ive researched that help me reach my goals
magnesium 200mg twice a day
i LOVE magnesium, helps curb cravings, helps me poop, sleep, and digest. i dont crave chocolate or sweets at all.
2. niacin + inositol 500mg twice a day
its basically vit b, helps turn food and stored fat into energy faster. also helps heart and brain health and function. gives me energy and clears brainfog.
3. chromium 800mg once a day
essential to insulin and regulates blood sugar levels! helps me not crash when im fasting, and helps me stop binging when i do eat. levels hunger basically.
4. berberine (theres a bunch of stuff mixed so idk 2 capsules twice a day)
this one is GREAT! helps strengthen the heartbeat, kills the bacteria that craves sugar, AND regulates how sugar is used in the blood. it also reduces swelling. this one helps with bloating so so much!
5. finally, apple cider vinegar 2tbsp twice a day
this one is not really a supplement but it is literally a lifesaver. curbs appetite and makes me feel vaguely nauseous so i dont want to eat. it also helps my stomachs microbiome so i crave healthy food!!

I have three cats. Two of them are rag dolls and one is a Persian.
I’ve notice that Edblr has gotten a lot more toxic lately and this can just be a reminder that the people on this side of tumblr are more than just a disease and hopefully can help everyone be a little nicer to each other.

the last month i have been CRAVING chocolate and just letting myself binge everyday bc i was in "recovery" (wrong bitch u were just stuffing ur face with junk food) and then it got to a point like WHy do i crave chocolate so much??
i have a magnesium deficiency! so i got some magnesium tablets and dude, i haven't even thought about chocolate since!!
