The lily in my Jegulus fic was on the fence about how she felt about James’s obvious affection toward her, but then she saw James and Reg talking to each other and was like “omg they’re in love and they don’t even know it” so she respectfully is trying to get them together. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Guys, how are we feeling about the "you're evil for not liking a female character who canonically dates one guy from your favourite mlm ship"?

Because I've seen ALL the takes possible on what you should not do with the female character.

1) you cannot ignore her, that's erasure of women

2) you cannot write her as an antagonist to the ship/an ex, because that's vilainising her

3) you cannot write her as a too nice of a supporting character, because that makes her characterisation too flat

4) you cannot make her a lesbian since you're only making it to make the mlm ship work

5) you absolutely cannot consider her your gf/wife, because that's just so fake and you don't care enough to give her a love interest

Honestly, what the fuck do these haters want? It's too fucking contradictory.

I'm not kidding, I've seen it all, and it so fucking tiring to see this scrutiny no matter what a writer does.

And here's the truth, if I cared SO much about this character, i would have written that fic about her. I don't, i like these two better, and she is just a supporting character in this particular story. Nothing stops you from giving her the spotlight she deserves

think sirius loses regulus in every universe. he gets kidnapped as a young child in a grocery store. he dies as a sea turtle making his way to shore after hatching. he stays behind as a teenager to hold a portal so sirius can get through. he betrays the throne and stages a coup against the royal black family. he drifts away and dims as a star. he burns up as a candle. he flies too close to the sun. he turn around in the underworld. he eats the fruit in the garden of eden. sirius can never keep him safe, or keep him at all

As a Regulus Black defender, I just don’t see him following/going after James in the same way that Patroclus does with Achilles, to the mountain, to the Skyros. It’s just giving Prongsfoot too much.

Though I did love how much Choices hurt for me to read. I’d 100% read a Canon Prongsfoot fic however I do not know of one

I hate to say it but I feel like Song of Achilles is giving Prongsfoot more than Jegulus
