I was taught that the heavens had no mercy...

Sequel to my IH fantasy AU piece.

The storyline remains ambiguous because I've had trouble making solid decisions on how this AU actually works. I know that:

Ichigo is a demigod trained and sent to the immortal realm to take down a powerful god named Aizen. This redesign of the mugetsu form is both his main powered up form and a disguise. He looks like his usual orange-haired self powered down.

Orihime is a minor goddess with hidden powers.

After that I have no other details nailed down. If you'd like to see my conflicting ideas:

Orihime was previously mortal and knew/liked Ichigo before ascending - OR - Orihime was always a goddess and doesn't meet Ichigo until he's deep into his mission.

Orihime is an attendant to high immortal Rukia - OR - Orihime has an arranged marriage with a high immortal, which significantly increases her status in the immortal realm.

There is no division between the Espada/arrancar and shinigami characters - OR - they are two immortal factions in an eternal war. Either way, Aizen is manipulating all of them.😏

Ichigo knew what he was being trained for his entire life - OR - his mission was only recently revealed to him.

You can comment on any of these if you have a strong preference. I go back and forth so often.

Hello! Hey, just wanted to say that I ended up finding your blog and saw your KH and Bleach art, as well as your other original pieces and found them to be really nice and pretty! I really like your art style and I think it looks fantastic :) I did also want to ask: If you were to take request art suggestions, would it be for anything? Not just limited to what you're familiar with?

Hi there, and thanks! That's sweet of you to say. ☺️ Like a lot of artists, my confidence tends to go up and down. Hopefully I'll get back to the sweet spot of wanting to improve, but still appreciating my own personal style soon.

If I did end up doing requests, I think I would leave the subject open this time. Requests for things I'm familiar with (or ships I ship) will naturally have better results, as I can draw on more themes and emotions. But I'm familiar with a lot more things than I've posted on this blog, so who knows! Accepted requests would naturally have to follow my other rules, which I would post with the announcement that I'm open for requests.

Ichihime Week, Day 4: Shakespeare Story

It took me some time to figure out which play to do. Miranda's "I would not wish any companion in the world but you," line led me to The Tempest, and this clip of it helped me finally make up my mind.

There is a later stage direction where Miranda and Ferdinand are sitting in the background playing chess, so I thought that would be cute to do too.

Ichihime Week, Day 2: First Date

This took so long to finish, omigosh. Huge thanks to the artists/photographers of Unsplash.com for all of the backgrounds.

The animatic originally included the first verse of the song, but it just worked better shorter. The "sketch look" drawings near the middle are the remnants of that section. I actually spent the most time on that part.😭
