Hani is less than half-way to his goal, and urgently needs to evacuate his family. Hani's house was destroyed on October 13th, and since then, his family has been displaced, living in tents.

On September 15th, his father lost his life due to the attack on Al-Shifa Hospital. Because of this terrible injustice, Hani is now the only hope for saving his family - which consists of 10 members: his sisters (which includes two toddlers: a 2 and 3 year old), 3 minors, and his 18-year-old brother.

Hani currently lives in Belgium. He left Gaza for Italy to represent Palestine in a skate competition - but his life has been completely transformed since then. He lost his father, his home, and now he is in constant fear that he will lose the rest of his family. At 23 years old, this is one of the most stressful positions a person could ever be in.

Help Hani's family survive by donating to their evacuation fund. The smallest donation will make the biggest difference. We can all pitch in. If you cannot donate, you should absolutely spread the word.

I know some of you follow me because you listen to Big Soy Naturals, but if you aren’t a listener then you may not be aware of the fundraiser for a friend’s family in Gaza that we are trying to help meet its goal as soon as possible.

The Himdan family is displaced as a result of Wasrael’s attacks and are struggling to afford basic necessities like food, clean water, diapers and medicine.

Wasrael consistently blocks aid, and when aid does arrive, the IOF opens fire on Palestinians gathering to receive it, which makes these resources very scarce. We are lucky to have a listener audience large enough that if each person gave $3, the fundraiser would be complete before our next release, but I know not everyone has $3 to spare.

That’s why we’re going to make use of the collective power of all our communities’ reach and ask all of you to share this post and text the link to this gofundme to anyone you know with the means to donate even $3.

For as long as Wasrael occupies the land and attempts to ethnically cleanse Palestinians, we must see the suffering of our siblings in Palestine as our collective responsibility. We must believe in the need for their liberation to be as important as our own.

just wanna say as someone who's Aboriginal that I think First Nations peoples have every right to be a little angry at white leftists (NOT Palestinians, people blaming Palestinians stfu) who ignored our anti-colonial movements for years but are now supporting the Free Palestine movement. If you, someone living in the US, Canada or Australia or Aotearoa, are serious about the liberation of Palestine then you NEED to be just as serious about justice and liberation for the First Nations peoples' who's stolen and colonised land YOU live on. If you're not serious about where YOU fit in the paradigm of anti-colonial work, fix it. Here's a good place to start: if you're a person living on occupied Indigenous lands, learn who's land it really is, and how you can help them as an ally.
