it’s been brought to my attention recently how trans people are being treated in the marauders fandom and truly… what the fuck.

as a gender-fluid person who loves gender-fluid sirius it’s so upsetting to see videos on tiktok of people saying shit like “Sirius would never wear a skirt in canon.” since when have we gave a SINGLE FUCK about canon???

people bashing on headcanoned trans or anything under the trans umbrella characters that is so embarrassing and disgusting. what the fuck.

as a fandom we need to better bc this is genuinely so horrible. i personally haven’t had any experiences but i have seen people get threatened just because they are trans or nonbinary or anything else. or if they headcanon a character a certain way.

when i joined this fandom i was so excited because it was so freeing. i can make up my own headcanons and some people like them and some people don’t.

but if you don’t like someone’s opinion and you decide to leave hate or THREATS under their content?! that is not fucking okay.

as a fandom we need to do better. this is so disappointing.

I absolutely think that one barty found out about jegulus (he knew about james the whole time but more like when he found out regulus wanted to tell sirius but didn't know how) he'd absolutely LORD it over sirius that he knows something about regulus that sirius doesn't know.

Sirius would be OUTRAGED. he would be disbelieving. and he would be DETERMINED to find out what it is that barty knows.

sirius would ask remus for help, but remus knows about jegulus, and he doesn't want to accidentally out their relationship. so sirius asks peter, and peter says yes - he also knows about jegulus but what he does is he messes up in the investigation so thoroughly that Sirius comes to a very different conclusion, far from what is actually true.

on the day sirius thinks he's found out what it is that barty knows, he grabs the map and finds barty, right outside the slytherin dorms. he doesn't take notice of anyone else on the map. (this is important later)

he goes up to barty, who's just standing outside of the dorm, and he says, "REGULUS HAS A CRUSH ON DUMBLEDORE."

barty is like wtf. and sirius mistakes it and thinks that he knows something barty doesn't. barty goes "no, he doesn't????" sirius is ADMANT, and so he tries to get into the slytherin dorm room to ask regulus. barty is very very against this - he looks at Peter with wide eyes and Peter knows what's up, so he tries to stop sirius too, but sirius black is a man on a mission and he cannot be stopped, so he walks into the dorm and is met with the sight of james and regulus making out.

anyway that's one of the ways I think sirius fignd out about jegulus.
