I've been working on this piece for so damn long, I'm glad I'm finished. I'm not really pleased with where it is at, but I'm just SO DAMN SICK of looking at it and messing with it. Anyway, here it is! This isn't the team I used in the game, but they are my six favorite that are available in Hisui. Also, my first piece done with Clip Studio Paint and I LOVED it. Enjoy!

Third and last of my three-part Hollow Knight set! EXTREMELY happy with the way this one turned out. After creating Hollow-Knightsonas for me and my partner, I wanted to do a more illustrative action pose of both of us in combat. Took this as an opportunity to try and mimic some of the style of the gorgeous backgrounds from the game. This was SUPER fun to do, and I definitely plan on doing more pieces like it! Hollow Knight is my second-favorite game of all time, and after replaying for the fifth time recently, I decided to make hollow-knightsonas for me and my partner. This is my partner's sona, Aster. Most of their description is in the image itself. Based them off of katydids, as those are my partner's favorite kind of bugs. They have some kind of connection to the Thorns of Agony charm, but not sure what exactly. Ghost is shown for scale. Check out my other Hollow Knight posts! Hope you like it!

Most of his description is in the image itself. I chose a beetle as they are my favorite kind of bugs. I based him on a combination of Atlas and Hercules beetles. Wanted to make some rough designs for the stage one evolutions of these three good new boys. Definitely gonna make some more finished designs at some point (either these designs or new ones). No real thoughts on typing or dex entries except for Fuecoco's evo, who is Fire/Electric. Just wanted to some really quick, off-the-dome sketches. Never really done something like this but I really liked it. Hope you do, too!

Designed this before the Legends: Arceus leaks, just been too busy to upload. I got really close to actual design with this one! I may have even had the same base concept as whoever designed Hisuian Typhlosion. In Shinto (the native religion of Japan) Ho-musubi, also known as Kagu-tsuchi or Hi-no-kami, was the Japanese god of fire. When he was born, he burned his mother and she died. In anger, his father cut him into eight pieces and cast them across all of Japan. Each of those pieces created a new volcano. Since the legend of this god begins with him immediately being killed, it only makes sense to make this a Ghost type. I also divided the body into eight parts, separated by fiery bands, to honor the myth. I gave it eight long flames to represent the eight volcanoes born from his dismembered body. The final touch was putting the kanji for fire on the chest with the two brushstrokes on the side turning into two of the flame wisps. Hisuian Quilava: Fire/Ghost "Quilava's flames never go out. Not even a torrent of frigid water can extinguish the flames. They produce a fragrant smoke that, when smelled, causes one to remember and mourn their lost loved ones. Quilava uses this to its advantage, either fleeing or attacking while its opponent is distracted." Spirishiri [Spirit + Rishiri (volcanic island in Japan)] Fire/Ghost "The long flames emanating from Spirishiri do not cause burns. Instead, people or Pokemon who touch the flame are engulfed in feelings of loss, grief, and sorrow. Spirishiri can use this to distract opponents, or to heal emotional trauma by unlocking repressed memories in someone and forcing them to finally face their emotions. Because of this, many revere Spirishiri as a bringer of peace. Some, however, regard it as a malevolent force. The truth likely lies somewhere in between." Hope you like it!

Designed these before the Legends: Arceus Leaks, just been too busy to upload. Unlike my other two alternate starter evolutions, this one turned out to be quite different from the official design. Since the game is based on feudal Japan, as with most fan artists who did this challenge, I based these designs on parts of old Japanese culture. I'd been wanting to make a fakemon that uses tessen (Japanese war fans) for a while, and the scallops of the Oshawott line seemed to perfect a match to pass up. I'm not completely satisfied with how this turned out, so I'm planning on redoing this in the future. Hisuian Dewott: Water/Flying "Upon evolution, Dewott's favorite scalchop grows enormously. This shell is very heavy and difficult to drag around. Thankfully, the scalchop has a secret: it grants Dewott the power of flight. Dewott can be seen riding this scalchop on the waves like a surfboard, using the waves as ramps to throw Dewott into the air. The more Dewott does this, the longer the time it can stay in the air. Eventually, it's able to take flight at will and stay in the air indefinitely. At this point, it is just about ready to evolve." Tessenott [Tessen (Japanese war fan)+Otter] Water/Flying "Tessenott's scalchop has now split in two and gives it the power over the air. Tessenott uses them to guide the breeze for offensive or defensive purposes. Tessenott can also use them to fly by guiding the wind to carry it. The winds Tessenott creates can reach frightening strengths; there's a legend one even created a hurricane." Hope you like it!

I designed these before the Legends: Arceus leaks came out, just been to busy to upload. The coloration for my alternate evolution turned out to be very similar to the real Hisuian Decidueye, and they have the same typing. I decided to go with more of a fully-suited-up samurai look, turning the feathers into the layered plates of samurai armor. I also didn't want to go with the typical swords, so I turned Dartrix's sharp dart-feathers into spikes on samurai bracers that can be removed to be used as kunai. They can also be tied to it's vines to be used as rope darts. I really like what I came up for this design, but I'll probably return to it in the future to refine it and give it a better render. Hisuian Dartrix: Grass/Flying "After it evolves from Rowlet, the sharp leaves Dartrix grows from its wings grow sharper and more dense. The surrounding feathers have grown shorter to expose the blades, which decreases Dartrix's flying abilities but allows it to slash with it's wings rather than just throw the blades. The blades can also be removed and held for melee combat. Since it can no longer fly as well as it previously could, it uses its blades to climb trees. It then glides silently to its prey and attacks ferociously." Fukuronin [Fukuro (Japanese for "Owl") + Ronin] Grass/Fighting "Much of Fukuronin's feathers have fused and hardened, creating plates of armor in certain parts of its body. It has completely lost the ability to fly, but the blades it grows from its wings have gained razor sharpness. Fukuronin slashes with its bladed wings and also uses them for defense. Similar to Dartrix, it can remove its wing blades to throw or melee attack. It has also gained the ability to tie these blades to the vines wrapped around its waist, using this as a rope dart. Fukuronin has a firm sense of honor and regards those who follow the same code with much respect. Those who go against its code, however, will feel its wrath." Hope you like it!

Considering Sam Wilson is NOT a super-soldier like his predecessor, it seems if anyone could use a full helmet (as opposed to the weird headband he wears), it would be Sam. I like him very much and don't want anything bad to happen to him, so I made him a new helmet! So, ladies, gentlemen, and fancyfolk outside the gender binary, may I present your NEW (safer) Captain America!!! Safety first, Cap!

Right before my latest playthrough of Horizon: Zero Dawn, I finished playing Assassin's Creed: Odyssey. They had a lot of similarities in gameplay and visuals, with one glaring difference. While playing HZD, I kept pressing the up button to call my bird companion and kept getting disappointed when nothing happened. So, I decided to make Aloy an aviary companion! Or, rather, have her make herself one! In this headcanon, she both wanted to learn more about the machines by building her own, as well as make a companion. I figure with her Focus, her loads of experience with machines, and possibly some help from super-advanced AIs, it could be doable. So, I present Aloy's new friend and ally! His name is Rost.

A piece I've been working on on-and-off since the finale of Drawga on Drawfee! (If you haven't seen Drawfee on YouTube, you need to right now.) I found it criminal and a little upsetting seeing Caldwell's real human face in the bottom right whenever he was drawing while everyone else use a cartoon icon of their character., so I decided to make him his own character! I hope I made Papa Caldy proud!
