This is... A half year of writing. A months of editing (wayyy more stressful). A fear "it's so silly, nobody will read it, when there are a lot of beautiful fics around". A year of constant re-reading because I sometimes forgot what was in the middle 😁.

But it's time to let it go. To appear in the world of meticulous readers and strict canon fans. Imaginary continuation of the one of my favourite story, as I see it in my head. All merits to MXTX, mine's only a "what if".

The past exists regardless of its presence in drafts. The present faces challenges not prescribed in the script. The future... well. someone must create it. And it is advisable not to fuck-up - after all, this world is now not letters on the screen, but the reality around.

Will it work out? Even the omnipotent System does not know...

#I have an idea but no time: what if "cultivation" in MDZS world really means... "farming"?

Based on this post: @dramatic-dolphin , I think you view things in the right direction! 😁❤️

Modern AU, where five powerful agricultural corporations practically rule the life of the country, dividing the workforce and resources for the best food production:

Cloud Recesses Inc. in Gusu — organic vegetables, strictly no pesticides, no chemical fertilisers; only straw mulching, complementary crops, attracting of natural predators for pests (ladybugs and other entomofags), natural irrigation etc. Centuries-long history of family business, no outside high-level management at all. Organised the famous agricultural academy, where share the knowledge about organic farming.

Lotus Cove Company in Yunmeng — fisheries, lotus growing, for seeds, roots and making the dyes (famous "Yunmeng Lotus Purple), river pearls and others; the company unites many small local farms and proposes them the processing and manufacturing of finished products and logistics. Regular searches of new initiative talents for company from local residents, but they keep the controlling stake in the main family.

Jin Golden Carp Corp. in Lanling - floristic and orchard business, have huge greenhouses with exotic fruits; M&A the lands from small landlords and enterprises by cheap prices and in general lead the tons of leasing and funding financial operations. Not clean reputation, but the huge PR&GR and legal departments helps with this a lot.

Butcher's Saber Ent. in Qinghe — meat and dairy production mostly. They propose the best salaries on local workforce market and due to that acquire a strong loyalty among the residents — but have severe corporation policies about the industrial espionage and thefts . And also BS Ent. has the strictest (except Cloud Recesses Inc.) safety standards for all product cycle.

Wen LLC in Qishan — broiler poultry farming, second big competitor of meat production after BS Ent. in region; breeding of new sorts and seed selling business (here we have uncontrollable usage of GMO, chemicals and pharmaceutical products, but all experiments keeps in secret from public). Due to the excessive usage of pesticides and fertilisation, they faced with pollution and soil depletion, therefore actively expanding their cultivation areas by raider attacks and property fraud. Payed the good salaries but have a catastrophic penalty system for keeping the mouths shut, but you must be Wen for obtaining even the middle management position.

Maybe the story begins, where the prominent student WWX (who thinks about agricultural technologies in non-traditional way, for example — builds robots and automatisation programs for harvesters machines, searches the solutions in nano-biology and something similar) entered the Gusu Lan academy as a part of sharing experience delegation from Lotus Cove.

Or from the moment, when Wens decided to attack their competitors, using the false accusations about owners, cyberattacks, sabotage and brute force?

Or when the little WWX's innovative company in the most infertile lands of Burial Mounds became way too bottleneck due to progressive researches of someone's brilliant mind, that the other big corporations collectively decided to wip the unwanted competitor from the market at all?

Maybe in the classic way, when WWX, who was in a coma for thirteen years after a huge fire in his laboratory, received the organ transplant and new face from unknown beneficiary — and waked up? With clear suspicions who was really behind this incident that also killed his shijie and her husband? Now he's unrecognisable for his friends and enemies and can investigate the case freely. Maybe, the little help from LWJ, the second heir of Cloud Recesses Inc., could be useful? They were just-step-before-good-friends in his previous life...

Do you know, guys, that there are real wars in agricultural business nowadays? Maybe, they are even more dangerous, than in imaginary magical world of jianhu...

#I have an idea but no time: what if once upon a time Jiang Fengmiang was a part of "mad gremlins trio" with WWX parents?

Well, they were young and energetic students, with the credo "Attempt the impossible" (and Cangshe Sanren madly adored the Jiang Clan motto too). Surely, the joke with shaved LQR's beard was their most famous — but not single during their lectures in Cloud Recesses. And according to the level of grudge (LQR has already expected the worst from WWX even when he just started the studies...ok, not without reasons at all, but anyway, he was prejudiced), the clashes between LQR and "mad trio" were loud. It could be that JFM did not tolerate stickness to the rule obeying from LQR side the mostly, why not?

Anyway, they all grew, became the respectable society members (not all), create the families (not all too). WWX parents died and JFM took their son in his clan (Madam Yue was pissed off). But did the childish grudges dissolved with time? Dream on! 😏

Of course, JFM is a Sect Leader now, and the good relationships between the clans matter the most. What does it mean? — right, if the direct action are banned, it can be done in subtle ways. Tiny verbal insults' changes on the sect conferences, some ambiguous concessions (" honorable Lan-xiansheng, we humbly asked the help of the Gusu Lan qin musicians! What happened? Oh, our disciples couldn't solve the case with numerous murdering, we really need some hints from the victims... didn't I mention that all the murders happened in brothels?"). JFM just smiles when he sees the angry face of LQR...and swears, when "That. Damned. Stubborn. Lan" makes his reversal move in full accordance to 3k Gusu Lan rules (it's possible, he's very creative person in that field 😏).

Madam Yue is in rage and tired of all this. Lan elders write to her the long letters about "with all respect, but could you please to stop this chaos gremlin before our Sect Leader received a stroke?". And she is double pissed. JFM calms her that he didn't nothing wrong at all ("my dear wife, really, they just overreact about it"). The Jiang children are overjoyed about their father (and shishu's) deeds. The cultivation world make the bets about their next move (it's very funny and harmless to all participants... except moral losses)

And when it's time for the next lectures in Cloud Recesses comes, JFM doesn't give to the delegation any orders, as "show them all, how we attempt the impossible in our Sect" or "who will bring the esteemed LQR to the stroke — became my favourite child". No, not so brutally.

He just said "Please, write more often to home".

And it was enough.

(Ok, WWX apparently won this title. Jiang Cheng also tried, but not so impressible. JYL just smiled and observed from side, giving the advices sometimes.)

(Why in the end I see how Lan Clan elders send LQR to the Lotus Cove for constant residency — idk, it's only my imagination 😁)

1) I would have gotten some kind of email from Ao3 if this was true

2) this comment is formatted to be perfect to tack onto any fic they choose

3) ALSO why on earth would Ao3 get rid of entire fandoms off the site? Even if they WERE inactive? Who knows if others will be ‘late’ to the fandom and want some fic to read. Who knows if someone wants to come back to their 6 year old account only to find most of their fics deleted.

I’m lucky to be a reasonable adult who has seen tricks like these who also had a very kind person comment their own doubts.

#I have an idea but no time: what if after emerging from the Abyss Luo Binghe went not to Huan Hua palace — but on Bai Zhan Peak? Won the fight with Liu Qingge — and became a new Peak Lord?

Canon or fanon, don't remember exactly, where "the next Bai Zhan Peak lord must to win a fight with previous". But let it be that way. And our beloved Protagonist used this loophole (what about "the same "Qing" generation" — up to your world building system preferences 😏) for to became closer to his Shizun even with demonic blood.

Shen Qingque doesn't know, to cry or to laugh: what about plotline? What about all "Emperor of three realms" stuff? Ok, the protagonist could start the conquering even from Jianghu...but he doesn't seem to want it now. LBH successfully manages the discipline on his peak, presents on sect meetings, visits him on tea... surely, he bears a deep hatred and a cold revenge against him and all sect 😏! He even refuses to travel outside the sect for finding some beauties for his future harem! Ow, maybe, he often visits the Bamboo house for to court NYY...why she misses his visits for some "important matters, sorry, Shizun, say hello to A-Luo for me!"?

The Peak lords are glad that the beloved Qing Jing disciple returned from Abyss (they not sure about all situation, but he didn't seem to complain, that's ok, yes?). Ofc, they are worried about LQG's pride (he left the peak just after the loss), but...the things are calm now? Even if some An Ding Peak lord nervously gnaws his nails — new Bai Zhan Peak lord is very polite with him too. And even dropped some words about "Shang-shidi, you can be sure about the safety of your guest, I don't see any troubles in that matter".

Meanwhile, some years later the strange rumours from demonic world come to the CQMS: about some mighty warrior, who continuously defeates the powerful demon clan leaders. Who behaves strangely noble with his opponents, although doesn't leave the traitorous attempts unresponsive. And rumours are, some big clans even appointed him as their lord. He stays away from the territories of Underground palace, but his influence grows day by day. He keeps the loyal clans in the iron fist, finds the resources for their needs (not attacking human world but proposing the services of demonic warriors as mercenary troops for warring kingdoms). And with that tendency, he can became a mighty force and the serious danger for demons and cultivator sects.

CQMS Peak lords decided to investigate that matter. And even tried to appoint the meeting with that same demon lord (wide-spread nicknamed as Lord of White Rage). After the long negotiations between two sides, the meeting happened.

What was the general shock, when they recognised the face of that "demonic lord"! The same face, as their long-ago missed ex-Bai Zhan Peak lord, Liu Qingge's.

No, he didn't know, how his grieving escapade for finding his death in the demonic world not from shame, but in the battle, turned into this! Yes, he still hates the demons at all...not now, Counsellor, don't you see our guests? What damned important matters? A fire storm in the east lands? Ok, he'll be there in some hours, send some fire demonic cultivators for temporary civil defense!

I can write this plotline by eternity... Maybe here will be a slow-burn BingLiuShen in some point (or other relationships, it's open). Maybe — the peace negotiations between two worlds. Or the war. All is possible, why not? If Liu Qingge didn't die in this version of reality — he is the "dark free horse", a random number on the dice.

#I have an idea but no time: what if the canonical WWX's "hypothetical yao tree" under windows of the Orchid Room in Cloud Recesses... heard him out?

Obviously, that lush green tree grew here more than several years. Maybe even some centuries, who knows? Absorbed the lectures about cultivation, history of clans, clumsy responses and discussions etc. Created some sort of pre-self-conscience, and one summer day it heard about itself from the WWX speech, and "Wow! That's what I am! I'm not a simple tree, I'm kind of spiritual being!". It also heard about the stump and "nah, I don't want it, I must hide myself from that humans".

The tree's plan could be successful, if WWX, bored to death on LQR lectures, didn't set near the window and didn't noticed the strange untypical flow of spiritual energy inside the branches. At first he thought it's just a coincidence, but when the tree clearly reacted on LQR speech (some wrong interpreted events in Gusu Lan history, "not for wide range", iyk), WWX created a Tree-Translator talisman (paper is also made from dead trees, sure you know? Some freak sort of modao ways, first steps 😁).

Their communication wasn't easy: the yao tree personality grew on Lan Clan education and rules implications, so WWX had an impression sometimes that he speaked with some clan elder (and he wasn't wrong!). But due to observations of Gusu Lan students, the centuries of experience and the clever mind (bionic consciousness is a strange subject, so let it be), the spiritual being wasn't so stacked and conservative. It agreed with WWX response on the lecture that days (but warned him about consequences of his actions in more reasonable ways). It was interested in safe communication with some clever-mind unbiased being (the yao tree was the only one of his kind in Gusu).

I'm sure WWX with his curiosity would be the same interested in their conversations. No, he didn't want to tell anyone about it. Maybe only to LWJ... but he couldn't find a right way to introduce his friends.

How their relationships would grow? Maybe, the tree was chopped and burned during the Wen's attack...and somehow his remains even became the Chengqing🤔? Maybe the yao tree helped WWX "connect the dots" about him and LWJ? Or something else? Depends from you, readers and writers)

I started to write fics again in June 2024. Well, I still write them 😁.

Sometimes I write in a very strange way: firstly FengQing"The honeymoon of two celestial generals". Then, for a little explanation, how these two idiots in love generals were married — "The Festival of Thousands Lantern". And now — the prequel's prequel 🤭,

"The Loss Win" (link ENG / UA)

It's about not FenqQings (it's a prequel, they still need some time), but about Mei Nianqing, who became the Heavenly Emperor in the author's headcanon.

Really, how did that happen?

Well, listen carefully. About two lazy and smart scoundrels (and then a third will appear). About reputation and offers that can't be refused. About the power of gossip and luck in the game. And many other things.

#I have an idea but no time: what if the ascension of the Cang Qiong peak lords in PIDW world is... slightly different from classical Chinese mythology? And it is bloody. Way more bloody 😯

What we know from canon? All 12 peak lords (who lived, ok) rule together and retired together. And the rumors are — they could even ascend in Heavens together. We know that the peak lords appoint the head disciples, who will took their places. It's s traditional management model of the big organisation, and it's effective in some ways, blah-blah 🙄.

And Shen Yuan took the body of SQQ after the previous peak lords retired (it's canon too). He lives his new live, unblock OOC, raises LBH, plans to accomplish "the Abyss mission" etc. He doesn't think many about the previous peak generation fate — really, it doesn't matter so much, he has his own problems! Is it so strange that nobody around don't mention them at all?

Then, after the Abyss mission, he meets and befriends with SQH. But. Why the An Ding peak lord is so excited about sun-moon dew mushrooms? Why he says "I'm not sure, but we must grow them more, it's a real chance for all of us!"? What chance?

"Do you think, Cucumber-bro, that all the miracles and power of Cang Qiong Peaks — the rainbow bridges, the Ling Xi caves, the hidden peak valleys full of magical herbs and beasts etc. — that's all for free? Your previous body speed-run cultivation to immortal master — do you know that usual people can reach this level only during the decades? So he — and SQH have two options: to be killed by their sect and potentially (potentially...) became gods — or by demons (and kill that way the future of Cang Qiong). Not "live forever happily and lazy". Good, very good.

#I have an idea but no time: what if the feral fighting-hungry adepts of Bai Zhan peak aren't the worst in comparison? 😜

Oh, these one-brainecell guys (maybe girls too, idk, why not, really?) with good martial arts and feral aggression, who keeps in constant fear all disciples in Cang Qiong mountains... Poor kitties! What if this is just their way to co-op and revenge with the bullying from other peak adepts?

We know so little about the "high school culture" in Cang Qiong mountains — ok, in canon on Qing Jin Peak there's some classic elements (teacher's pets, bullying, "pretty princess problem" etc.). And we know from original SQQ past that he had a constant fighting with LQG. Let's suppose, that even the righteous path of cultivation doesn't deny such things 🙄 (they are...ok, not all, we have LBH😏 — they are only humans, after all).

So, attacks from Bai Zhan peak? Hey, that is only fair! Do you know, what dirty prank played just last week the Qing Jin adepts on them? They installed the sound-producing array near the Bai Zhan dormitories with the different taped monsters roars and howlings — and it activated in the middle of the every night in random direction! Do you think it's very funny, huh? Well, for the poor adepts it wasn't. They can't sleep all the nights due to their reflexes!

And the girls from Xian Shu Peak? They are so tired from constant removing of spying amulets from their bathrooms... It's only fair, that they're recalibrate all measuring devices from adepts' workshops on the Artifacts Peak yesterday night. It was hard but worth it.

If you think that Qian Cao Peak adepts are weak — you are so wrong, really! Don't you remember the strange decease in the spring when some mean adepts from different peaks fell with the false symptoms of plague? Yep, Mu Qingfan says "a harmless rush, don't worry: it will pass without treatment in some time". Not suspicious, yeah...

And after Shang Qinghua became the leader of An Ding peak — nobody in clear mind doesn't want to bully his weakest adepts anymore. Because you don't want to be eaten alive by Thousands-teeth Demon Roses from mixed-up package with the label of "Papers". Logistic mistakes happen, sorry guys 😏.
