Based on irl seagull which is down yander if you want to see it. Me and my mom found him in a target parking lot and I took a picture because I have to use my own references for AP. He was likely cannibalized by other seagulls which is kinda gnarly.

Ok.

Cos I’m old now, I was put into AP studio art instead of regular studio art as a course for school. Which means I have to create a sort of portfolio of work related to other work or a common theme instead of just doing random stuff.

So yeah. That happened. My theme is a study on death, decomposition, nature, life, rebirth, etc. blah blah blah blah. This piece is based on a real live possum I saw that had been hit by a car on the road. He received a pretty gnarly head wound, otherwise known as the one in the piece, so I took it over to commemorate him. We refer to him as ‘bumper’ and we did call an animal rehabilitation place to hopefully save the guy cos we would’ve missed the bus if we waited out traffic to get him. As far as references go, I’m very much influenced by the music I listen to and heavy metal album cover art. I want to get to that level eventually because I love doing small details and weird shocking art.

idk how to caption things ever but here’s my take on soap mactavish because I love him.

I made the Mohawk edgy and that was the main purpose of this but I also wound up accentuating other facial features differently than how they’re presented in-game. I can’t really capture it well when I draw, but his one iris is meant to look as if it collapsed as a result of the injury that caused his facial scar. Sometimes that just happens. The scar runs down through the tissue on his mouth, giving him a sort of cleft lip that frequently displays bits of his teeth. Also gave him earrings but one of them got bonked so he has a Patrick star legs ear.

Also they’re not breathing through the filter on the mask they’re using that hose and oxygen tank strapped to their back. the gas/butane/propane/napalm whatever the fuck is in the flamethrower itself in that barrel. Just to clarify my thought process lmfao.
