Excerpt From Lost In Spero

All at once, the seafloor seemed to be pulled from under them like a rug, a sick prank. The boat came tumbling down and was only picking up more speed by the second. The sky pulled further and further away as they sunk into an endless black. The water tubed around them walled off as they sunk into nothing.

I've been doing a lot of clearing of my WIP's they're not finished but I've built some out and added some length to make them respectable. I hope you'll give them a read I definitely want to upgrade these fairly consistently so all readers and feedback will be appreciated.

Grace Delmonico: I love Nick, I really do! But I've never really seen myself as a "mother". I was always a mage first. 

Emma Burrow: Can the two not coexist? 

Grace Delmonico: They can and they did. But as more time passes…

  Panel Two: Grace raises her bandaged arms in front of her face. They subtly shake as she stares at them with remorse.

Hi,

I'm new to Tumblr but very excited to join the writing circles. My name is Hann, I'm 18 years old, and I'm trying to write a book. It's a soft-sci-fi thriller mystery set in the 1970s involving a mysterious corpse and a derelict, luxury hotel.

I've been writing since I was about 10, but I've never really completed anything. This particular WIP I have been developing since early 2020. I would really like to be part of the community here, and share bits of writing, poetry, mood boards, playlists, etc.

How have your OC's changed over time?

The writing process is a grueling one with lots of ups and downs. Our original character sometimes take on lives of their own as more personality develops. How has your oc changed?

Personally. I'd like to say Fay Morgan and Grace Delmonico have changed the most for me as I've developed their story. Fay started off as a simple ally and protege then eventually blossomed into a character that carries their own backstory and drives the story as a central protagonist. A challenged, complicated young woman who's trying so hard to fit in as an orphan.

Grace. Initially was just a sweet loving mother to Nick but as I sat and thought about her more and more. She morphed into someone with so much inner turmoil, a true conflict with what she has become but most importantly what she has lost.
