So I work with my schools radio and tv program and they were trying to check the cameras so i walked out onto the gym floor where they were set up and as I turn my head I see a little gremlin of a child (probably like five or something idk how ages work) standing by the athletes hallway.

He looks into the gym. Looks up. Looks around. Whispers, "damn..." Then turned around and left.

Sometimes i feel like a worm, wriggling on the sidewalk, attempting to get back to the forest of grass that looks like an oasis after the sprinkler waters it.

Other times i feel like a double chinned asshole on the internet

First off, no. Thats a phone on a selfie stick MEANT to show that children are to busy with technology rather than the outside world. The minimalist drawing style might have been a stylistic choice and not anything philosopical. ANYWAYS, the way people dont understand this comic made me chuckle. Children are NOT to busy on their phones and in turn unfocased on the outside world, they are attempting to fix the world the older generations broke while the older generations sit back and blame the things that they never had. Narrowing the spectrum down to "young people are brainwashed by their phones" is stupid. What made you come to that conclution? Fox news? Yeah, sure.

Ranting is pointless, i know, but i cant help but get somewhat upset at the fact older generations think technolgy is so bad. It was created as a cushion for us, to soften the blow of the fact our world is dying. The older generations are upset at the fact that we have unlimited information at our fingertips rather than, like their parents did, relying on them for information. The older generations are upset at the fact they are being called out. The older generations are upset that they cannot manipulate younger ones.

Just because we are aware of social issues at a younger age than you, doesnt mean we are to young to understand, it simply means that we are more mature than you'd like to believe.

This comic is a brilliant commentary on the way society has moved more toward minimalism, and away from whimsy and extravagance. The comic itself uses a minimalist style, which helps convey the message well.
