Small things grow reaching up to match the vast. Cliffs look steeper when you only see the climb. Anxiety whispers when structures expand, Lines converge if scaled properly. Every giant shrinks when you look it in the eye. inspired by Michael Helso

"Quiet Corners" I once tried filling rooms. Laughter following behind me like swirls of a familiar perfume— easy, bright, performative. Now I choose corners. Not out of fear, but because silence is softer than applause. People say, “You’ve changed.” As if staying the same was ever an option. I nod. Smile. The kind of smile that doesn’t reach the eyes, just barely scratches the surface. Just enough. I wonder if they notice the cracks or if I’ve learned to paint over them too well. Because lately, even joy feels like effort. And peace? Peace feels like a room with no one asking anything from me.

Combustion Did we strike a match just to watch a spark grow into a burning blaze? Fixated on the flames— those fiery eyes of yours reflecting every flicker, every reckless promise we were too stubborn to extinguish. - Moonlit_Fragments

"Supposed to Be" But I’m not supposed to be like this. I’m happy. I’m full of joy. A social butterfly, they say— describing an assigned trait that now becomes a task I must endure. My battery must be low. Because... why am I in bed? Again. Under the covers, wrapped in their warmth. The darkness drapes over me like a second skin, providing a familiar comfort I didn’t even know I needed. 8 PM on a Friday. My stomach is talking, but only in whispers. Most of me has lost the ability to scream. - Moonlit_Fragments
