Sirius knew, while he was in Azkaban, that it had been twelve years. Not by scratching a mark day after day into the walls, but by counting the full moons, month after month, thinking of Remus.

He counted them, how many he had missed, how many Remus suffered without him or James by his side. And he knew how long he had been missing from Remus’ life, counting the moons he missed because, really, all that matters anymore is Remus.

it’s like 1 in the morning but something just popped into my head and somebody has probably said this before but omg i really wanted to post it.

so- sirius, remus, dorcas and marlene would so buy those sets of “his & hers” stuff, open them and then just swap them so sirius and remus had “his & his” and marlene and dorcas had “hers & hers”

they would probably also swap the pillows in shops and stuff.

I’m mixing fandoms here but I was rewatching bbc ghosts again and I had a random thought…

If the marauders were alive you can’t tell me that james wouldn’t have loved horrible histories (if the wizarding world saw it I guess) and he’d of watched ghosts.

He so would’ve called Remus ‘moonah’

I don’t know why this came to me but I love it
