i finally pushed through drawing some tac gear. high detailed outfits are a PAIN for me; sketching and lining this alone took nearly 4 hours. the things i do to draw my sillies...

okay, so, the red, white & royal blue movie released on prime yesterday, right? in celebration, i decided to reread the book before i watched the movie so i had a nice fresh comparison ready in my brain.

the book was as fantastic as i remember it being. it's funny, it's sweet, and i love it as much as the first time i read it. good start!

i get settled down barely even an hour after i closed the book and booted up prime. immediately, 4 minutes in, somethings is very, very wrong.

where the hell is june? y'know, the main character's sister?? june, who i feel is pretty fucking vital to the plot as a supporting character???

i check the imdb page, hoping she just shows up later in the film, but no! she's straight up not in the movie. nora's there, bea's there, zahra's there, shaan's there, pezza's there, amy's there, but not fucking june??? ((OR rafael, for that matter????))

god, i don't feel like i can even continue to watch the movie without her there...

i think i'll push through and finish watching, but this just makes me sad :(

new interest? time for screenshot studies! i've honestly missed drawing like this, it's so relaxing, even though it's extremely time consuming. ghost's helmet made me wanna bash my skull open, but that's okay :)

i've got 2 more pages lined up with more characters :). i swear i'll get to them one day

(also this blog is just gonna be art for my brainworms. cod:mwii has had a parasitic grip on my brain for the past 7 months and i don't think it's going away anytime soon. i have not had a fandom affect me this badly in years.)
