There are many forms of addiction. There is a inate pull that keeps drawing you back and once you give in to that instant gratefication the disgust and shame you feel..is well you know. And them bam the urge is gone and you tell your self, "never again" until the next time. As for talking about "us' Talking about it and openly judging are two different things. And we both know not talking about a problem only leads to hoping that not talking about it will make it go away. Addiction affects all those in your life you hold close. I lost a uncle to alcohol addiction. I've lost friends to drug addictions. It is not just about the pain that keeps brings you back to your high or about the pain we go through seeing what this is turning you into; it is about you and those around you, together.I am sorry if you feel personally attacked. As people have requested. A more comprehensive description of the man who I am disgusted to admit I know.

I’m sure those in cosplay groups and those who had attended LFCC know of an incident involving a group of Gotham Sirens cosplayers. During a photo opp this man took the opportunity to grope a cosplayer to whom he was sharing a photo with. Naturally the next day the police where called and he was arrested. Currently he is facing a court date.

However, while he is now banned from attending all Showmasters events in the UK, there are still some conventions he is still able to attend. And while we can’t ban him, I feel it’s my duty to let other female cosplays around the Uk know of this man and arm themselves with the knowledge that he should be avoided.
