Silly little memory I had!!

This is probably an original experience but idk

I used to go to a school that taught mandarin, and when I was in 2nd grade I overheard my friends talking about what their chinese names meant in english, theirs had meanings like "sparkle queen beautiful" or like "pearl princess cloud" or something like that, and later that night after school I had told my brother to translate our names to english, and I was low-key hurt because mine meant "yellow fish emperor" and I thought it didn't sound as cute and elegant as my friends' names. But now my chinese name was changed and now it means "king rainbow jade" and honestly I wish I kept the fish emperor title 😔...
