I've been playing genshin on my current account for almost 3 years, and have been playing since 1.2. Never in my years of playing have I wanted to get both a character and their weapon (I hate the weapon banner).

Except for now.

When Natlans trailer dropped and I saw Kinich I immediately decided that this was going to be my boy and I was going to get him and his weapon on my team.

Luckily for me, I have most of Sumeru still to explore (I got like, maybe 30% rn) and a garunteed 50/50 on the character banner, and 50 pity right now. The boy will come home.

They're not the same, one is a trait, the other is abusive. It's a matter of force and free will. You're best friends partner isn't being a controlling abusive partner just because they want them to be home before 10pm. You're best friends partner who picks them up when you're friend calls them and is done for the night isn't being abusive or controlling, it's called being there for ur partner.

I'm extremely goddamn possessive, but I don't let that control me till it's abusive. My bf can hangout with his friends, go out with em, whatever; I just want to know his schedule for em or if smth comes up during em.

Remember, the line between possessiveness and controlling a partner, is a matter of consent and a respect for boundaries on both sides. Them being "a little possessive" and digging through you're phone isn't okay. Them being "a little possessive" and blocking you're friends and deleting your social media isn't okay.

Remember, it's only okay if you really want it, know exactly what's going to happen, and fully agree to it: every single time.

Here's 2 funfacts about me:

I'm allergic to artifical sugar;

More specifically, sucralose, which ultimately adds up to: I'm a walking sugar detector. Since almost everything in the US that uses sugar uses artifical instead of sucrose (cane sugar is 95-98% sucrose for example) since it's more expensive.

I can't have cakes, or really any dessert (except for Ice Cream) in large portions cuz of said allergy. Basically, in simple terms, I can eat one of those tiny bars on the big hershy bar, 2 will gimme a headache that'd fade within an hour, but 3 will make me nauseous and have a headache for at least 2 hours. I only like certain desserts that ik use sucrose (like ice cream) or have less artifical sugar. But even then, I'm still limited to just the baked part of cakes, unable to eat the frosting, or being v careful with what I need to eat and not.

I found this all out when I tried vegan milk for the first time, and since I knew I wasn't allergic to the nuts used, only one possible explanation was there. The sugar. Turns out most vegan dairy and egg products are fucking full of sucralose. (Plus, mixed with my v fast metabolism, I couldn't go vegan much less vegetarian even if I tried.)

I haven't gone trick or treating since after my 13th bday because I couldn't eat the candy anyway.

I always have to explain why I can't eat the dessert someone brought, or I'll have to take a bite before handing it off to someone else to eat because I can't stomach any more.

I have to calculate how much sugar I can eat and how much I'll have to pace it out if I wanna be able to not end up curling into a ball from pure pain.

I've had only ice cream cakes and crepes for my birthdays to actually celebrate because they were the only things I could stomach down without wanting to cry.

But hey, at least my sugar addicted bf get an absolute fuck ton of sweets becuz he always steals my portion when I can't eat anymore and I'd feel bad about throwing it away anyways.

Sorry if this is too personal, but how did you know you loved your partners romantically if you don’t have romantic attraction? If you don’t get crushes or anything how do you know? And if you’re comfortable talking about it, what do you define as romantic attraction? I’m aroace but I’ve never seen anyone else say that being aro is exclusively about attraction

Not to personal at all, dw about it! I guess it's just something I realized, since all human's know what love is, whether it be to a pet or a favorite movie or the sunrise or to their parents. I just knew that I loved them, that I trusted them completely, and that they made me more happy than anyone else. I may have never gotten crushes myself, but Ik what they are. Media and Public School Gossip(TM) are v quick teachers, which is why I realized I didn't get em.

I pretty much define romantic attraction as the want to date/be romantically with someone else while not being in a romantic relationship with said person. Wanting to kiss em and date and other stuff before you're together.

I've seen aro defined as lack of attraction whenever I went digging through aspec stuff, but since most allos don't understand aspec stuff, there is a lot of them trying to define it as smth else even though theyve never experienced the complete lack of attraction.

Ofc, everyone is different, and aspec is a spectrum for a reason, so obviouly you (and anyone else reading this) should take whatever I say with a grain of salt. Especially when comparing it to your own experiences.

I'm aroace. Always have been, always will be. And you know what ticks me off the most about it? It's the sentiment from allo people, that tell aces/aros/aroaces that the love they feel "must be platonic!" Or that if the have sex or date they aren't a real ace/aro/aroace.

This is wrong. It is wrong now, it was wrong then, and it will always b wrong.

Aros are defined as people without any romantic ATTRACTION. They can date, fall in love, or maybe they never will, and they find happiness in that.

Aces are defined as people without any sexual ATTRACTION. They can fuck, fuck around, make dirty jokes, or maybe they never have sex, or are uncomfortable with even the idea being brought up.

Ik this, because I'm aroace, and I'm in a poly relationship. I love my two partners, my boyfriend AND my girlfriend, but you wanna know what? I was never romantically or sexually attracted to them. I, oh so simply, just fell in love with them. I trust them completely, and I love them more than myself.

If I was not in love with them, I would not be in a relationship with them. It's as simple as that. I am not allo, I find no meaning in pretending to be attracted to someone. I've dated before, although it was more from societal pressures than any feelings, and that is why I'm so certain.

I never got a crush phase, never got the butterflies in my stomach or the fantasys about someone I was not close too.

Many aros/aces/aroaces will probably never want or find such relationships with a person. And that's okay, but it does not mean all are like that. People under the A-umbrella are 1000% valid, regardless of their wants/needs to have or not to have a relationship.

The Acespectum is always one of the hardest things to figure out if you are, because it is impossible to teach what the absence of something feels like. So, if you think you are, take it slow. Figure it out at your own pace, and don't be afraid of someone else's anger that you may not fit what they think you should be. In the end it's your choice, your wants, your needs, and your life.
