Heyy everyone! Checking in here to let you know that I’m gonna write 10 chapters ahead of time 6-8k words each. And I’ll start weekly updates every Tuesday!

I’ve already written a good chunk soo expect ch13 mid to late summer depending on how the future goes. Sorry for the long wait

So I reread my fic to double check shit again and I’m reminded every time, that I have a bad habit of going into DETAIL when I make my characters eat food because I’m a hungry bitch and I project this the most in my fics.

Bat burger with Tim? Twice btw, they did take out first and then went out to eat on that rainy not date. I was half hungry but man do I want those Jokerized fries now that I think about it

Breakfast at Jason’s place? I was hungryyyy af I love spinach and I’m always sad it shrinks so much I need moreee. Ugh I was so goddamn hungry

Doughnut not date with Tim? Y’all. ITS BEEN SO LONG SINCE I HAD DOUGHNUTS I WAS CRASHING OUT SOBBING ON THE INSIDE WRITING WHAT I CANT HAVE

This is all I have off the top of my head but uhhh lmk if it’s too much bc I didn’t enjoy making myself hungry rereading it every time

What to do abt the AI theft

I may not approve of it but I do want to continue easy access to reading my fic

So I’m debating on making it user only or just giving up and letting AI steal my work

I don’t care abt my own personal writing getting stolen bc I’ve only ever written this one fic and I don’t think I’ll be making several more, maybe one or two. So I don’t think it’ll be enough content that they’re stealing my specific creative writing style. They can’t steal my creativity, I wanted The Scarlet Witch in a Peter in Gotham fic and AI can’t make the silly chaotic plot line that I made. They don’t have my brain so they can take my measly writing.

But it does upset me that all my favourite moments I’ve already written will be recycled and butchered. So making it user only may be the good choice, because even if I believe otherwise I can’t be 100% sure that AI won’t be detected in my future school works bc my writing habits was stolen.

I wish the world will stop revolving around AI and schools will learn that AI detection isn’t cutting it anymore. But whatever. So I’ll let yall decide for me. Should I keep it free for all, limit it to users only, or private it until it’s safe from getting stolen again.

Hi everyone it’s been awhile but dw I’m alive at least. Uh, so I reached a slump in writing but I’m picking up the pace now. Just wanted to check in with everyone and let yall know I haven’t abandoned this work haha

It’s so sad that I took a hiatus when all my big juicy plans haven’t even been touched at all, I’ve mostly been having fun with Peter exploring Gotham and their rogues rn but dw we’ll come back to the main event soon

I’ll make an announcement ahead of time to let yall know when I’ll start posting chapters again. Considering that I’m attempting to post a chapter weekly once I do. So it’ll take a bit but we’ll get there, I just need to power through the writing process

So in the meantime go ahead and ask me anything as much as you please, it’s really fun to answer yalls questions

Hi everyone! Thank you so much for your patience so far, this hiatus is going to take longer than I thought. But I have not lost my passion for this project at all! While I did plan on writing chapters ahead of time, it’s been a slower process bc of personal issues in my life.

But I’ll stay active on this page, so feel free to ask me anything!

I’m also grateful for all the attention on this story of mine, never would I think that so many of you would enjoy it as much as I do. I have so many things planned but I’m forced to slow down and take my time to write it out. I wish I could just copy and paste what’s on my brain lol, it would make the process so much easier

Just wanted to let you know that 'The Spider, the Witch, and The Bat' is my favorite story of Peter in gotham. I love how you've characterized Jason and Tim with their theorizing. Also every scene with Wanda is amazing, love how you've written that broken woman trying to protect Peter in her own terrifying, manipulative way. It's just *Chef's Kiss*.

Omg ur so sweet! Thank you! I think people forget that Jason can be smart too! They’re raised by THE detective, so I’ll be doing the same with Dick and the others too. Wanda is such an important character to me, she has gone through so much tragedies just like Peter has. Especially in the comics. Two peas in a pod. I really can’t believe nobody else thought of this, it’s such a perfect pairing for family and angst potential! I have so much planned for everyone involved I’m not sure if I can fit everything! (Hence the long chapters)

Sometimes I go read through my plans and choke with emotion myself, yall are not ready for this.

It gets to the point that when I’m busy and unable to write, I get the urge to abandon my task to go write. I feel like that’s not normal but who knows! I have a muse actively giving me ideas so maybe it’s a good thing!

Make a SMALL bit of Spider-Man being neighbourly

Random old man: *gives a quest to clean the river*

Me: Okay, now the river is going to have piles of garbage to clean-

Tora: Remember me? Yeah this is no longer a side quest and the garbage piles are our home.

Me: Wha-

Lia: Hi, I’m the leader of the Old Gotham Riverside aka OGR.

Me: Oh, it’s dnd. It has corrupted the story. Well, just another plot line to write up ig

Damian: Nightwing won’t let himself be captured! Make it a test! I want to give Steph the punishment.

Me: why Steph?

Damian: bc Tim already had his turn and based on ur plans I think the punishment will fall short.

Me: …ok but why not Jason? Or Duke?

Damian: Jason and Duke mind their own business, Steph does not.

Me: it was glitter bombs wasn’t it

Damian: no comment.

Me: what do you think?

Damian: we will follow up with Steph’s punishment right?

Chapter 12 was so heavily influenced by Damian that he might as well have been a little devil on my shoulder the entire time. I thought this image was funny so I made a little script out of it. There was more I wanted to add, but then I’d be revealing too much.

It’s kind of funny tho, I had this main storyline that I was following but all these sub plots appeared and I kind of needed it tbh. Can’t have one big event right after the other after all. The only problem is timing it right and not making it complicated. So having a hiatus helps me figure that out.

Spider-Man, Scarlet Witch, and Batman!

So I noticed that my initial post abt this fic where I mention how I’d like to read other fics like mines got a little attention here on tumblr. Soo I might as well give them a full rundown of what I mixed together!

So we all love Dark Matter, Lazarus Peter, infinity stones, Dr Strange, etc. but we are sorely lacking The Scarlet Witch!

Ok first, this takes place a month after No Way Home! And follows along to Multiverse of Madness!

So we have a corrupted Wanda, grieving her lost husband and kids.

And we have a forgotten Peter, also grieving Aunt May and not just losing his friends but the Avengers and anyone else he could’ve called family!

Both are distant from the Avengers and are left isolated in their grief.

Let’s use that!!

Wanda pops into Peter’s room for a visit, they talk a bit before Peter realizes that she remembers him!

She blocked the memory spell, which is also how she found out what happened. She gives him an offer no normal person could refuse.

They can both go to another reality where they would no longer have to grieve over those that they have lost.

She asks him to go first, to find her twins and keep them safe. As a magic user herself, she needs to be careful abt alternate realities. How does chaos magic work with a reality that might have different rules on magic?

Even then, Peter hesitates. This is his punishment, with great power comes great responsibility. This is what he deserves,

Wanda only sees it as self destructive, she has no problem removing that issue herself.

With the help of a little magic, Peter agrees.

This is where it all begins.

He falls through the portal and land in the arms of his father, Nightwing aka Dick Grayson. The alternate version of Richard Parker.

We follow Peter as he navigates Gotham and her bats. But bats aren’t the only spooky creature of the night, looks like our spider will fit right in.

And thus, we have The Spider, The Witch, and The Bat

There’s going to be action, mystery, angst, and love? Some found family and new friends! But also new enemies and new problems! How will the vigilantes of Gotham react? What will they uncover? And what can they do to stop it?

Hiiiii so yes I’ll be taking a hiatus to write chapters ahead of schedule and be able to post weekly butttt then I also need a hiatus bc of new commitments that’s currently stalling everything fun atm.

So I’ll let y’all know when things settle and I find room to write! In the meantime, my outline is gonna get expanded bc the reason this thing came into creation was cause of my random spurts of creative ideas that I right down for later

Writers block who? She’s not getting me, I’m ALWAYS thinking of this fic and I’ll get it done even if it takes me years! (Hopefully not, bc i have a definite timeline and ending so that it WON’T be continuous)

Any of you who saw that comment that said otherwise, you didn’t see anything.

Uhh but there will be side stories and an epilogue, bc i had too many ideas and not all of them makes sense with the plot line so they’ll happen after the story ends

Peter would be all over him, blushing, answering ALL his burning questions, taking care of him. And then there’s Tim, just absolutely oblivious and only focusing on helping Peter with the mind control problem

I keep laughing reading The Spider, The Witch, and The Bat because of the romance aspect between Peter and Tim, it’s near impossible to stop myself from laughing at whatever fucked up universe family tree is going on. Like Peter… THERE’S NO WAYYY (Karen saying it’s okay because they’re not biologically related almost made me cry, like you’re not wrong! But! Karen!)

Interesting things happening in the Tim Drake/Peter Parker tags, I don’t know how it suddenly got a grip on me but it lead me to this fic and I don’t think I should look a gift horse in the mouth.

It is a legitimate dilemma to have, but Karen is out here looking at their distinctly different gene pools and wondering what the problem is. They look nothing alike and they’re two different ppl with the same age. Meanwhile Peter is looking at his family chart, like omg my crush is my uncle. Not legally bc he made an identity for Richard Parker but it’s the thought that counts.

And once he thinks it through, he now has an extra reason to avoid Dick bc NO stay away! Not only because omg you’re my dead dad and you might think I’m crazy. But yall have an adoption problem and if they try and take him in after seeing the similarities. THEN TIM WOULD FR BE HIS UNCLE.

His worst nightmare is the found family

And same, got into the ship bc so many are just lowkey crazy lmao. I needed the chaos and didn’t pay attention to my mix of tropes that made Tim the uncle until it was too late to go back
